Improving ability of learning English by themselves.课前准备:Cards for five groups, toys of some animals (they are all placed in five different places in the classroom),some sheets for five groups ,multimedia, a map, some pictures of animals教学步骤:Warm up1. Point to own parts of body with one partner.2. Revise some adjective with action:Big, small, long, short, thin, fat, tall3. Each group entitles a name of animal themselves.热身环节让学生复习以前学过的身体部位的单词及一些形容词,为本课打下基础。同时,发挥学生的主动性,让他们为自己组取一个动物名字,有趣的同时,从一开始就培养他们的合作精神。Starting and LeadingTeacher puts forward questions to the pupils: Doyou like animals? What animal do you like best?取好了名字,通过提问合情合理而自然地引出新课。New Lessons1.Use multimedia to simulate the noise of a zoo, eliciting new lessons.利用多媒体设置动物园的声音和动物园的场景,带领学生参观动物园。2. Ask the pupils to observe the elephant. The teacher asks them, “What is this?” Then, the teacher tells them, “Its very big. It has a long nose. It has two big ears.” Let the pupils read the sentences after the teacher several times .And then, some individual pupils describe the elephant, and they also can say some habits about elephant in Chinese.3. Do the same with bear, panda, monkey and rabbit. Let the pupils to talk about the animals themselves.让学生自己观察动物,教师引出句型,学生会读了以后,自己使用句型说出其他动物的特征。同时,允许学生用中文说出动物的一些生活习性,增加他们的知识面。这一过程是学生自主学习的过程。4. Encourage the pupils to call out where the animals live in China, and stick the pictures of animals on the right places on the map.同地理学科进行整合,让学生通过自己粘贴动物的生活地增加他们的相关知识。Consolidation1. A guessing game: Guess animals by using “It has”.猜一猜的游戏让学生兴致高昂地复习了句型。2. Stick some sentences on the sheets to make brief introduction for animals in English in groups. One group makes that for one animal.运用任务型教学法设置任务,让学生通过粘贴句子为动物园里的动物作英文简介,一方面完成了任务,达到运用的目的,一方面完成了新课标里的认读要求。3. Present their work to the class by reading andShowing the sentences. Let pupils know animals are our friends, we must love them.4. Show some famous cartoons of person, let the pupils describe them.将教学内容深化,运用特征明显而著名的卡通人物,让学生继续使用英语。Homework1.
