Train the students listening skill.听:通过学习本课时的话题,能够听懂有关向别人提供帮助的对话。说:能够准确的用英语表达向别人提供帮助的对话。读:能够准确的读出本课的句型及相关的对话。写:能正确的书写I will, I would like等句型且书写规范。情感目标培养学生关注社会,关心他人,并养成乐于助人的优良品质。 【重点难点】教学重点:能熟练掌握本课时的词汇及句型。教学难点:1. 掌握I will, I would like等句型2. 听力训练【教学过程】I. 复习热身1. 检查生词预习 1) 正音:学生齐读单词,有突出问题的单词由老师正音,然后重点强调,齐读。2) 听写:hunger, homeless, clean-up, sign, advertisement, set, establish.让学生以小组为单位互相批改,小组长报告检查情况。表扬优异者,对于出错的单词教师结合单词结构,读音规则帮助学生识记生词。 2. 自由交谈展示几张需要帮助的人或事的图片。(如:Sick people, homeless children, dirty, park, hungerT: Do you like these pictures?S: No, they make me sad.T: What can you see in the picture?S: There are some people who need help.T: Can you tell me something about the pictures?S: The children are very poor, they dont have money to go to school.(通过图片让学生充分展开想象力,针对每一幅图片进行描述,激起学生的同情心和对以下内容的兴趣。)II. 感知体验1. 感知:What can you do to help sick people? I could visit them in the hospital. Id like to buy them some flowers. I hope to cheer them up.Presentation and practice:T: What can you do to help the people who need your help? For example: What can you do to help sick people?S: I could visit them in the hospital.S: Id like to buy them some flowers.(让学生给出不同的回答,强调Id like to, could 和其他动词的搭配。老师不断强化句型,让学生有个模式进行下面的训练。)教学,学生结对练习对话,另外再展示一些图片让学生操练句型:A: What would you like to do if the classroom is very dirty?B: Id like toC: I could(通过反复操练,巩固句型,体会以上的结构,为后面的讨论作铺垫。)2. 体验:教学操练 (practice) 1a, 1c, 2c.让学生根据图片内容做对话,引出volunteer, work outside, cheer up, help sb with sth, give out, clean up, in the hospital, 并用刚刚学到的目标句型来操练。(若有学生不明白,老师可示范一次。)最后,抽查几对学生,让他们在全班面前,按照要求进行对话。(说明:让学生操练目标语言,并为听懂听力内容打下基础。)III. 强化巩固1. 1a & 1b1) Go through the instructions with the class. Point to the lists in Activity la and say, Their conversation contains the answers to the questions in Activity 1a. T: Now lets listen to a material in which some people describe what they want to do as volunteers. The first time, you should listen carefully to get the main idea of it. When you listen again, please complete the sentences in 1b on Page 60.2) Play the tape for the first time. This time, students only listen.3) Play the tape a second time. Ask them to listen to the recording and check their answers to Activity 1b.4) Check the answers with the class. Invite a student to read the answers. 2. 1c1) Read the instructions to the whole class. 2) Point out the example in the box. Ask two students to read it to the class. 3) As students work together, move around the classroom checking their work. 3. 2a &2b 1) T: Lets listen to another material in which some students are talking about ways to tell people about A City Parks Clean-Up Day. Before listening, please look at the pictures in 2aon Page 61.Listen to the tape and tick the things the students are going to do. One minute later, play the tape and then check the answers.T: Now listen again and complete the sentences in 2b.Play the tape again and then check the answers.2) T: In the listening, we have learned about some ways to tell people about the Clean-Up Day. Read the model dialogue in 2c and then work in pairs to try to make your own dialogues using the information in the listening. Get the students to make conversations then role play it. Sample dialogue 1:S1: We need to hand out advertisements after school.S2: Lets have supper first.S1: No, we cant put off handing out the advertisements. Clean-Up Day is only two weeks from now.Sample dialogue 2:S1: We need to put up the signs.S2: Lets drink some water first, Im thirsty.S1: No, we cant put off putting up the signs. Clean-Up Day is five days from now.IV. 语言运用1. Speaking提供情景:假设你有个朋友周末过生日,他打算在家开个生日舞会。他现在有很多事情忙不过来,你能给他提供什么帮助?A: This weekend Ill have a birthday party at my home, I have so many things to do, can you help me?B: OK, I couldC: Id like to让学生以小组为单位讨论后,找个别学生口头陈述.2. Writing将speaking 中的口头陈述形成书面文章. 若时间允许, 教师可让一名学生到黑板上书写,并给予批改评价. 其余学生在练习本上完成.若时间紧张,可将此步布置为课下作业.V. 总结反馈T: In this class, weve mainly talked about offering help. After class, try to make more dialogues to practice it. And learn the phrasal verbs cheer up, set up and come up with in Grammar Focus.
