充分利用教材素材和课堂时间练习学生听力-听力教程的创新运用潍坊广文中学 王爱霞背景初中英语教学的目的之一在于培养学生使用英语进行交际的能力,也就是英语的听、说、读、写能力。传统的应试教学模式,重读、写的能力训练,轻听、说能力的培养,留下了英语教学的“聋哑”后遗症。如何提高学生听力水平,给我们从事基础英语教育的同仁们留下了深思。我们老师都知道,提高学生的听力不是一时半会儿就能做到的,但是每天花很多时间盲目地去听也是没用的。听力教学是英语教学中不可缺少的重要环节,它是培养学生的创造能力及语言运用能力的必由之路。英语课堂是实施英语听力训练的主阵地,我们老师应该想方设法指导学生们在这有限而宝贵的时间里有目的、有计划、有选择、有策略地去练习听力,而不要打着扩大知识面的旗号什么内容都去听,什么时间都去听,那样的话学生们太累了,而且往往会起到事倍功半的效果。于是对于这个问题,老师们着急,学生们着急。我们的策略让学生们充分利用英语课堂时间和教材素材去练习听力,是众望所归的事情,但是具体如何操作还是一个值得大家探索的问题。我们广文中学的英语老师们在张建英主任的倡导下,可以说是群策群力,正在解决着这一难题,并且取得了一定的成效。我们考虑到了要根据学生们的实际水平先量体裁衣,选择合适的材料-其实我们的教材上本来就有很多好的素材,可以充分利用它们;接着再从题型设计方面逐渐提升难度。英语听力教程如一个新生的婴儿降生在我们广文校园,她的新鲜气息和实用价值受到了各位老师和学生的青睐。 我们编写的听力学案内容主要分为三部分:第一部分:以课本上每个模块 Unit1的听力素材为主,但设计得的题型与课本上不尽相同(课本上基本是问答题型,对于学生们来说难度太大,大部分同学很难在听完一两遍后能够用准确的语言来回答。时间长了,他们对这种听力题型产生了恐惧的感觉或放弃的态度)。我们的题型设计由浅入深,形式多变,多方位地训练学生们的思维,如判断正误,填写关键单词等题型难度不是太大,但是能够让学生们在听的过程中既能掌握文章的主要信息,又能在做题的过程中体验一些成就感。如初二下册Module 1 第一部分:一. 听录音,完成下列句子。1 Tonys room is _.2 Tony has a collection of model _.3 Tonys father collected model cars and _ when he was young.4 Tonys mother liked to collect _ at that time as well as fans.5 Tony also has another collection of _.二听录音,完成下列短文。Many students have hobbies, such as reading, painting, 1 in their gardens and _2 animals. The old man wants to see if he is a clever grandfather.第三部分内容以课外素材为主,形式为标准化考试的题型。我们根据学生们的实际水平海选了一些难度适当,内容生动的素材,设计出标准化题型,给了学生们更广阔的训练空间,形式的标准化和内容的生动有趣大大提高了学生们的积极性。主要分为单项选择和段落填空等。内容设计由易到难,前面部分主要考察学生对语言,数字,简单句意等的快速反应能力,而后面部分主要是考察学生对对话、段落、短问和篇章的整体理解能力,这就要求材料的选择和设计一定要有层次,先听一些简单,短小的材料。这样的材料一般学生都听得懂,学生有了收获,慢慢地对听力也有了兴趣,逐步过渡,在不知不觉中听力水平获得提高。如初二下册Module3第三部分:一:句子理解。听录音,选出与所听到的句子适当的答语。 ( )1.A.Yes, it is.
