On one hand, with the advancement of the process of globalization, especially after Chinas entrance into WTO, more and more international commodities swarm into the domestic market, which meet the demands of domestic consumers. On the other hand, with the gradual opening of the domestic market, more and more products made in China sells all over the world. Therefor, the translation of commodity instruction become very important. The normative translation which meets the mind and culture of the target market can help consumer to master the usage, further can increase their interest and satisfaction towards a variety of commodities,thereby arouse consumers buying motive. In addition, it always improves corporate image. On the contrary, the nonstandard translation with a lot of errors will make consumer stay away from the product, which directly affect the sales volume. The purpose of this thesis is to analysis the translation principles and strategies of commodity instruction . The research is mainly from the perspective of cultural diversity and sentence grammar of commodity instruction. This paper includes five parts: Part one is the introduction, background of the researchPart two is the overview of commodity instruction, explained the definition, the structure and usage of commodity instruction. Part three is the analysis of cultural diversity in translation and sum up several principles.Part four is the analysis of sentence grammar and put forward some translation strategies of commodity instruction.Part five is the conclusion.
