By reaching the goals of various tasks, students gain a sense of achievement. Teachers should creatively design learning activities relevant to students real lives to engage their interest in activities and organize activities effectively, so that they participate activity and reach the objects. the language class should be Ss-centered. Students all-round and lifelong developmental needs must be the central consideration in the teaching and learning process. Under the guidence and help of the teacher; students develop their language skills, good study habits and effective learning strategies in an integrated way through experiential, practical, cooperative, autonomous and inquiry-based learning.2 Teaching material and learning condition 2.1 The analysis of teaching materialThe teaching material is from Go for it Grade7 BookB Unit8 Id like some noodles. The topics of this unit is food. The function items students are going to learn are about ordering food. the structures of this unit is “what question” and modal verb would. The lesson is the first part of this unit. there are some new words and structure in this period. Whats more, it consists some listen practice and pair work. After the study of this lesson, students will know how to order the food according the kinds of noodle, drink and the size of bowl. Ss will improve their comprehensive language competence in the practice.2.2 The analysis of learning condition My students are in the grade one of junior school. They are interested in the English, and have the desire to share their opinion with others. They are familiar with the topic - food, which will help them learn the lesson better and want to say some thing about this topic. But they still need some encouragement to open their mouth. But due to their limited vocabulary, they will have a little difficult in some activities. So teacher should present well before they have the practice. 3 Learning objectiveBy the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to achieve the following objectives:3.1 Language skills1)Ss can order food with the new words and structure2) Ss can use what they have learned in the real-life situation3.2 Language knowledge1) Use the useful words properly: noodle beef cabbage potato special size bowl mutton2) Master important sentences: What kind of noodles would you like? What size bowl of noodles would you like? Id like some .3) Use the countable nouns and uncountable nouns properly3.3 Affects1) Experience the process of learning by doing and be active in learning English.2) Learn to cooperate with their partners in the group work. 3.4 Cultural awareness1) aware the differences between Chinese food and the food of the western countries. (Help Ss ask and answer in pairs.)A: What kind of food would you like?B: Id like some (write down on the Bb)(While-task)T: Thank you. Ill invite him to have noodles (Chinese traditional food).T: Do you like noodles? To have noodles, we need some vegetables and meat.T: What kind of vegetables would you like? What kind of meat would you like?Ss: Id like some (注意可数不可数名词)(mutton, beef, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, eggs, chicken)AimsThe new structure is lead in naturally, students begin to practice. They are asked to give advice further. When they suggest what kinds of food should be used for noodle, they learn the new words, such as noodles mutton, beef, cabbage, potatoes. At the same time, they learn the the countable nouns and uncountable nouns again.Activity2. practice (5min)T: We go to have noodles, there are three special noodles, and can you match the vegetables and meat with the special noodles?
