Thiscondition can be determined by measuring the ambient air wet bulb temperatureand the wet bulb temperature entering the tower. An increase of more than about18F in the entering wet bulb over the ambient wet bulb indicates that excessdischarge is re-entering the tower. COOLING TOWER MAINTENANCEOnce the cooling tower system is placed into fulltime service, routine inspectionand maintenance must be done to ensure proper tower operation and to obtain theexpected service life of the equipment.
