Aims of knowledge and ability Learn the usage of the Passive voice. 1) Disneyland is enjoyed by millions of people fromall over the world. 2) Mickey Mouse was invented by Walt Disney. 3) The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing. 4) A lot of water can be saved by forests.2. Aims of emotion With the coming of the 29th Olympics, teach students to come to realize the importance of protecting the environment and show their deep love to their motherland.II. Teaching aids: Multi-mediaIII. Teaching procedure:Step 1 Review1. Ask students to write down as many sentences with Passive voice as they can that they have learned so far and ask four of them to write on the Bb.2. Check them and read through all the sentences listed on the scream.Step 2 Presentation Using the examples on the scream, help students to conclude the four main usages of Passive voice.Step3 Consolidation1. Oral exercises: with four pictures on the scream, ask students to make sentences with Active voice and Passive voice orally.2. Written exercises: with four pictures on the scream, ask students to make sentences with Active voice and Passive voice on the given paper.3. Do some other exercises on the paper.Step 4 Practice (If time permits) With the key words on the scream, ask students to use Passive voice to describe a topic with the title of: “The Importance of Protecting the Environment”.Step 5 SummaryStep 6 HomeworkIV.
