T.I.A.Jack Chen3、Dear Jane:soy burgers that you asked me for in your e-mail last night:Cook 5 cups of soy beans in a pressure cooker for about 45 minutes. Drain the cooked beans in a strainer. Mash the beans with a potato masher and add while mashing:2 tsps. salt3/4-1 cup whole wheat flour1/2 tsp. pepper1 tbsp. garlic powder2 tsps. oregano1 tsp. basil1 onion, finely chopped1 green pepper, finely choppedMix well. The mix should be quite stiff. To make patties, roll mix into a small ball, a little larger than a golf ball. Then flatten the ball to 1/2 inch thick. Fry in a generous amount of oil, so theyll be crisp. Makes 16 soy burgers.Good luck, Jane!Chi-wei (-)4、Dear Sir/Madam:I am planning to stay in the U.S. this summer, and while in America, I would like to be enrolled in one of your intensive summer English courses. We are thinking of leaving Taipei on the morning of April 2 by airplane, and returning on April 7 before noon.We estimate that the total cost for the three of us would be about 180,000 NT dollars. Do you think we could go? We hope you will give us your approval, as we believe it is important for us to get acquainted with the most recent trends and developments in the software industry.Thank you in advance for your consideration.James Kim27、经理我想申请影印机Dear Mr. Doe:In order to improve the efficiency of our office, I would like to propose that we purchase a new copy machine. With only one copy machine at the moment, many of us are simply wasting our time waiting to use the machine.
