Similarly, the proportion in USA has shown resembling upward trend during the same period of time, which rocketed from barely 10%/a little bit below 10% in 1940 to approximately 23% in 2040. In 1940, USA had the highest proportion of people aged 65 and above among three countries (around 10%), while the proportion in Japan was the lowest in that year (merely over 5%). After 1960, it is interesting to see that while the proportion in USA and Sweden has been climbing dramatically/drastically, the proportion in Japan has been growing rather steadily/tenderly/slightly, despite a sudden boost/surge expected by 2030 (from 10% more than doubled to 25%) To sum up, there might be more elderly people in Japan in coming years._ _ 例2You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The chart below shows the amount spent on six consumer goods in four European countries.Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below. You should write at least 150 words. According to the chart, the French would like to spend the most on photographic film ( approximately 170 thousand pounds sterling) while in stark contrast, tennis racquets might be the least popular item for the French (merely a little bit over 140%).
