Different people have different ideas. A part of them believe that math shouldnt be learned .While others think that they should develop maths.In my view,English majors should learn maths. Most of English learners,especially girls, are extremely scared of math. To escape this subject, they always put the reason this way: a language learner hardly uses math, so he shouldnt put much emphasis on math. Students points of view on this issue vary from one to another. For my part, I dont think our English majors should learn math in university.
