Functions and operation of Kafka 2.1 Function introduction Kafka is an open source flow processing platform developed by Apache Software Foundation, as well as a high-throughput distributed system publishing subscription messages. In simple words, different messages come to build different topics and then there are corresponding programs to take such messages. When messages in kafka have been kept long in stock or the network is disconnected, kafka will cure and store these messages.
