The way to distinguish cement and cutting ,区别水泥和岩屑的方法：Put cutting onto porcelain and drop liquid of phenolphthalein on it , if the color turn into red , that means there is cement in the cutting把岩屑放到磁盘上，滴酚酞溶液，如果颜色变红，说明岩屑里有水泥。9. porosity 孔隙度：very poor 极差，poor差，fair 中等，good 好，very good 极好。10. direct fluorescence and cut fluorescence 荧光直照和系列对比：Put cutting onto porcelain, and drop some chloroform (chlorothene) on it , then put porcelain under fluorescent lamp check 把岩屑放到瓷盘上滴上氯仿，然后放到荧光灯下观察。11. oil bearing description含油描述: color颜色, odor气味, stain浸染痕迹, percentage of cutting含量, direct fluorescence and crushed cut fluorescence , nil无(no show), trace少量 , poor差, fair中等, good好 ,very good 很好。 12. content 含有物：argillaceous含泥, sandy含砂, salty含粉砂, carbonaceous speck含炭屑 ,calcareous 含钙, shell含贝壳, igneous fragment火成岩碎块（岩屑）, glauconite海绿石, kaolinite高岭石, chalk白垩土, pyrite黄铁矿, algae海藻, ammonite菊石。Mica云母 14.
