During that time, I was working hard for Graduate Entrance Examination, while most of my classmates were busy hunting for suitable jobs, and some of them had got their satisfied job. It was a cool and comfortable autumn day, two of my roommates were going to take part in a job interview, and they suggested me to go with them. I was a little hesitated. It seemed that I would miss many opportunities at job searching during the time I preparing for the examination. And it meant that I would let the golden time slip if I had failed in the exam. So maybe the best way was neither give up the jobs nor stop studying. It was a well-paid position which needed patience and stability that I referred from the introduction. I was the penultimate candidate to be interviewed. There were three kind interviewers sitting in the office, a young lady and two gentlemen. After some ordinary questions, my tension was mitigated and the interviewers were satisfied with my performance. Just at that moment, one of the interviewers asked an unexpected question: “Are you preparing for the Graduate Entrance Examination at the same time?” “Yes.” I nodded as I reckoned it revealed my diligence and in a way I should be honest. “Since you want to continue your further study, why do you still come to attend this interview?” Another interviewer reinforced before I answered: “Are you worrying about missing good jobs as well as failing the examination?” “Yes.” I smiled and admitted what he said was just I thought about. “But there is a problem,” Said the young lady, “If you are employed by our company today and adopted by your favorite university tomorrow, which would you choose then? To our company, we dont expect the newbies we fostered leave us soon and frequently.” To work or to study, that was the question. In fact, I had not thought of it carefully. Maybe I just didnt want to be penniless if I failed the exam. But if I had no confidence a little then why did I study so hard that nearly forget food and sleep? “You are an excellent girl outshine other young interviewees, but youd better make sure what do you really want.
