( ) 今天，我们将学习一种新的时态，即过去进行时，就如我们第五个句子，当我们要表示:在过去某一时刻或某一段时间正在进行的动作时，我们就用过去进行时。I.过去进行时的结构过去进行时是由：“助动词be(was/were)+动词ing形式+过去的时间状语”构成。例如：My mother was cooking when I got home last Friday evening.The Taylors were having dinner when the earthquake took place.II. 过去进行时的三问题助动词be(was/were) :什么时候用was?什么时候用were？A：当句子的主语是人称代词I, he, she, it以及单数名词或不可数名词时用was。如：I was doing homework when the teacher came in.B：当句子的主语是人称代词we, you, they以及复数名词时用were。如：They were swimming while I was fishing.动词ing形式，即动词现在分词的构成请你写出下列动词的现在分词形式ask lie swim put look takeget begin carry ridesit travel过去的时间状语在过去进行时态中，有一个特定的过去的时间，除了上下文暗示以外，一般用时间状语来表示。A：用一个具体的表示过去的时间点。例如：at eight last night; at this time of yesterday; at that timeB:用连词when 或while 引导的时间状语从句来表示。 when “当.时候”，后面跟的动词多数是短暂性动词, 常用一般过去时态。 When the UFO took off, the boy was taking photos. while “当.时候”， 后面跟的动词必须是延续性动词, 常用进行时态。While the boy was taking photos, the UFO took off. 试比较：1.
