中国矿业大学2008届本科生毕业设计第1页翻译部分DevelopingaHybridProgrammableLogicControllerPlatformforaFlexibleManufacturingSystemKENVINJ.MCDERMOTTANDWENLONGALBERTYAONewJerseyInstituteofTechnology,Newark,NJ07102Abstractinthisarticle,weactaccordingtotheprogrammablelogicalcontrolelectriccircuitandthepersonalcomputerbasedon(personalcomputermachine)visualperson-machineconnection(MMI)andthedatacollection(directaction)theunit,designsandcarriesoutanimbleprocessingsystem(flexibleprocessingsystem)theimplementationtocontroltheplatform.Theflexibleprocessingsystemsessentialaspectliesinittoadaptintheoperatingprocessflexibility.Theprogrammablecontrollerprovidesthefeasiblesolutionflexibilityprocessingsystemapplicationthemethod,usesbasedonpersonalcomputersMMI/DAS,reliesontheprogrammablelogicalcontrollertoapplyrapidlyintheexecutionsequencecontrolpolicy.WithmanagesfrontendMMI/DASthepersonalcomputermachinetomakethevisualoperationcontactsurface,fillsthepowerfulgraphandthereporttool.Mayorusesfrompersonalcomputersinformationbyacompanyslocalareanetworktheclient-servertechnologytoassign.Atpresent,becausehasforthemicrocomputertechnologyandsoftwareprogrammingtechnologyfoundationgathering,manyuserswilldiscoverthattheprogrammablelogicalcontrollerwillbeonesavesthecostinthemiddleandsmallscalefactoryreal-timecontrolprocessthemethod,whenparticularlytheusemixingmethodwillsupervisepersonalcomputerstime.Thisarticlesmaingoalliesinthecertificateprogrammablelogiccontrollertorapidandtherepeatedcontroldutysensitivity,andtousethepersonalcomputermachinetoprovidetheinformationautomationtheflowingandtoaccepttheoperatortooperatetheintention,therefore,isalsoprovidesfortheuseralongwiththerequestchange,butchangesunceasinglyamonitoringprocesstool.1.Introduced中国矿业大学2008届本科生毕业设计第2页Thatinmanykindsofproductmanufacturingindustries,theproductionautomationsformisalsoflexibleprocessingsystem(FMS)firstproposedinthe1970s.Afterflexibleprocessingsystemsappearanceenhancementlaborproductivity,flexibleprocessingsystemsquantitylargescalegrowth(GruverandZimmers1984).Theentireworldasaresultofglobalcompetitionsenhancement,theproductioncyclereducesgradually,andtheproductioncostincreasesdaybydayusual,theflexibleprocessingsystemiscomposedofgroupofmachinesoranotherautomatedworkstation,formsstandardizedthesubsystem,forexamplenumericalcontrolmachiningcenter,robot,visionsystemandaprocessstationandsoon.Andthismaterialhandlingsysteminterconnectionusually(Malek1991)actuatesthroughacomputer.Eachstandardizationssystemneedsastandardizedthecontrolsystem,itsdifferentsparepartbysinglecontroller.Allstandardizationssubsystemlookedlikeinthepastequallybythecomputercontrol.Thesecontrollerscarryouttheirtaskunderahigherhorizontalcontrollerssurveillance.Tothesystem,twocontroldevicesandtheinformationflowneedstoautomate.Theflexibleprocessingsystemsessentialaspectliesinitsabilitytochangealongwiththecontrolduty.Thisflexibilitycanproducethecomponentstypeincludingitquantityandthetype,theexecutivecommand,aswellasimprovesthepartialroutestoflowability.Finally,thecontrolplatformshouldhaveabilitytocausetheinformationflowingautomation。Usually,some3kindofcontrolplatformusesintheflexibleprocessingsystem:Minicomputer,miniatureelectronicaccountingmachineandprogrammablelogicalcontroller(Malek1991).Theminicomputerisverysuitablecomplex,large-scale,continual,rulesandregulationscontrolapplication.Theprogrammablelogicalcontrollerusesinrapidandtherepeatedlogicalcontrol.Thepersonalcomputer(personalcomputer)issuitablefortheman-machineinterfacefunction.First,theprogrammablelogicalcontrollerreplacerelay,forintheindustryenvironmentinlandtransportationextension,itmayeasilybyworkshopengineerandtheattendants,isservicedbythefactoryelectrician.Atpresent,becausehasthemicrocomputertechnologyandsoftwareprogrammingtechnologyfoundationgathering,manyuserswilldiscoverthattheprogrammablelogicalcontrollerwillapplyinthemiddleandsmallscalefactoryreal-timecontrolprocessissavesthecostmethod,whenparticularlytheusemixingmethodwillsupervise.中国矿业大学2008届本科生毕业设计第3页Thisarticlesgoalliesintheprocessingflexibilityprocessingsystemsmodernizedtechnology.Proposedthatthedesignandthedata-acquisitionsystemdirectactiontheflexibleprocessingsystemwhichandthepersonalcomputercontrolsfortheprogrammablelogicalcontrollerbasedonthevisualperson-machineconnection(MMI)construction.Itsstructureisasfollows:Thefirst2partsstartfromtheflexibleprocessingsystemsdescriptiontointroduceintheNewJerseyengineeringinstitute(NJIT)factorycenterlevelmanufacturesystem.3rdpartofdescriptionflexibilityprocessingsystemsoperation.4partsand5partsdemonstratedisthepresentprogrammablelogicalcontrollercontrolandthepersonalcomputergivestheflexibleprocessingsystemaccordingtoMMI/DASintheNJITapplication.6partscontainthisprogrammablelogicalcontrollercontrolandthepersonalcomputertheflexibleprocessingsystemapplicationsuperiorityaccordingtoMMI/DAStheoutline2.Flexibleprocessingsystemsdescription1.OneaboutflexibleprocessingsystemdevelopmentsviewpointasshowninFigure.Itiscomposedofthefollowingseveralparts:(MacandKamisetty1991;Mat,1
