4、hgear/Motor Control Centers to betalled on platforms of the BZ34-1 oil field development adjusting project.1.2 The omission from this specification of any item or items essential for the correct function of any part of the specified equipment shall be brought to the attention of the COMPANY. Failure

5、 to do this shall not absolve the VENDOR from supplying the equipment complete in every respect.1.3 All deviations from the requirements of this specification shall be stated in the quotation. In the absence of such a statement, it shall be understood that all requirements of this specification are

6、fulfilled without exception.1.4 The VENDOR shall complete all the details required in the Low Voltage Switchgears Data Sheet.2.0 CODES & STANDARDS2.1 All equipment shall be designed to comply with the most recent edition of the relevantI.E.C. publications supplemented by this specification, the asso

7、ciated data sheets and one line diagrams.2.2 The equipment may conform to the National standard of the country of manufacture, provided these standards are based on the I.E.C. recommendation and prior approved by PURCHASER.2.3 The VENDOR shall state in his quotation the standards to which the equipm

8、ent shall be manufactured. Location:Indoors, Unclassified area4.0 REQUIREMENTS4.1 GENERAL4.1.1 The switchgear shall be supplied in accordance with the one line diagrams and data sheets.4.1.2 All equipment

13、shall be rated for continuous operation unless otherwise specified. The rated voltage, current, frequency, and fault current shall be as stated on the single line diagram/data sheets.4.1.3 The switchgear shall be suitable for operation with variations of voltage and frequency as stated on the data s

14、heets.4.1.4 Transient voltage depressions down to 70% of rated voltage shall not affect the performance of the equipment.4.2 STRUCTURAL & MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS4.2.1 The switchgear shall be metal enclosed, free standing, floor mounting, flush fronted and arranged to form a single structure. Each st

15、ructure shall consist of vertical sections which may be assembled into a group having a common busbar assembly and forming an enclosure to which additional sections may readily be added at either end.4.2.2 When required, front mounted units shall not require rear access for tallation or maintenance.

16、 They shall be suitable for back-to-back or back-to-wall mounting.4.2.3 Each assembly shall be suitable for future extension at each end, unless otherwise noted. Removable end plates shall be provided for access to the horizontal power bus and wireway.4.2.4 The structure, including doors and panels,

17、 shall be capable of withstanding the internal pressures created by faults within the structure equal to the maximum fault current rating without danger to the operating personnel or damage to the equipment.4.2.5 Structures shall be self ventilating.4.2.6 Interlocks, busbar shutters and covers shall

18、 be provided to prevent incorrect or unsafe operation.4.2.7 The switchgear structure shall be provided with barriers to prevent the transfer of ionized gases between compartments.4.2.8 Each motor starter or moulded case feeder circuit breaker unit shall be housed in a separate compartment within the

19、 switchgear. Combination motor starters and lighting and heating controllers, 400A and below, shall be of the draw-out type. Above 400A, starters and lighting and heating controllers shall be of the bolted-on type. Feeder circuit breakers through 400 ampere frame size shall be of the draw-out type.

20、Higher frame size breakers shall be of the bolted-on type.4.2.9 Control power transformers, auxiliary relays, current transformers, and other devices indicated on the data sheets or single-line-diagrams shall be talled in the same space unit as the combination starter.4.2.10 Switchboards and MCC are

21、 to be provided with ulated handrails or handles fitted in an appropriate position at the front of the switchboard. Where access to the rear is necessary for operational or maintenance purposes, an ulated handrail orulated handles are to be fitted.4.2.11 The protection degree of enclosure of the swi

22、tchgear shall not be less than IP2 The switchgear shall have a service life of at least 25 years at continuous full load operation.4.3 AIR CIRCUIT BREAKERS4.3.1 Circuit breakers shall be withdrawable and of the air break type, with long and short time, tantaneous trip units and time delay un

23、der voltage trips set for 70% of nominal voltage etc. as stated on the single line diagram/data sheets.4.3.2 Circuit breaker duty, rating and number of poles shall be as stated on the single line diagram/data sheets.4.3.3 Circuit breakers of similar rating shall be interchangeable.4.3.4 Circuit brea

24、ker operating mechanisms shall be as stated on the switchgear single line diagram/data sheets.4.3.5 Test facilities shall be provided to permit operation of the circuit breaker while in the test/isolated position.4.3.6 Circuit breakers shall be fully type tested and carry certification from a recogn

25、ized switchgear testing authority. They shall conform to IEC 60157 short circuit performance category P Circuit breakers shall be provided with trip circuit supervision to monitor trip circuit continuity and trip circuit supply. Alarm and indication facilities shall be provided to give warnin

26、g of a trip circuit fault.4.3.8 4.3.8 Circuit breakers shall be provided with a minimum of two normally closed and two normally open spare contacts wired out to terminals.4.3.9 Circuit breakers shall be mechanically interlocked to prevent:a. The breaker being erted into the service position unless i

27、t is open.b. The breaker being withdrawn from the service position unless it is open.c. The breaker being closed unless it is fully in the service or withdrawn/test position.d. Remote operation while in the withdrawn/test position.e. The breaker being erted into the service position while shutters a

28、re padlocked.4.3.10 Circuit breakers shall be fitted with busbar and cable circuit shutters. Shutters shall be:a. Fitted with padlocking facilities.b. Colored red for busbars and yellow for circuits in addition to being labelled.c. Of metal construction and effectively earthed to the main housing.d.

29、 Of the mechanical linkage type. Gravity drop shutters are unacceptable.e. Capable of being individually operated by manual means.4.3.11 The continuous current rating, the service short-circuit breaking current (Ics), and the withstand rating of the circuit breaker (Icw) shall be the same as the mai

30、n busbars of the LV switchgear/MCC. The breaker shall have adequate 1 sec withstand rating to enable proper selectivity during system faults.4.4 MOULDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER (MCCB)4.4.1 Moulded case circuit breakers shall be of the fuse-free, quick make and break, trip free type.4.4.2 MCCB for feede

31、r circuits shall be equipped with adjustable thermal and magnetic trip units while those for motor circuits shall be equipped with magnetic trip only as the overload protection will be provided by the overload relay.4.4.3 All MCCB shall have RMS service short circuit breaking capacity (Ics) not less

32、 than the maximum short circuit current expected at the main busbars of the cubicle.4.4.4 For MCCB used on the incomer side, it shall be of motorised type (for remote closing).4.4.5 All MCCB shall be equipped with shunt trip facilities.4.5 MOTOR STARTERS4.5.1 Motor starters shall be direct on line s

33、tarting unless otherwise stated. All starters shall be arranged for remote control in addition to any controls specified at the switchgear.4.5.2 Motor starters shall preferably be of the withdrawable type, with starter components mounted on a withdrawable chassis.4.5.3 Motor starters shall include b

34、ut not be limited to the following:a. Molded case thermal magnetic circuit breaker with adjustable magnetic trip. Fault make and capable of breaking motor locked rotor current, mechanically interlocked with door/withdrawable mechanism, padlockable in the off and on positions and fitted with addtiona

35、l auxiliary contacts and trip coil wired to terminals as specified in the one line diagram/data sheet.b. Fuse-control indication and trument circuit fuses shall be the HRC cartridge type.c. Contactor suitable for continuous duty. Contactor and protective device shall be coordinated to ensure that co

36、ntactor fault rating is not exceeded.d. Protective devices as specified on the single line diagram. All protective devices shall be provided with manual reset.e. Stop lock pushbutton mounted on front of starter and shrouded to prevent inadvertent operation.f. Overload reset pushbutton mounted on the

37、 front of the starter.g. Ammeters and current transformers shall be fitted to motor starters of 22kW and above. The ammeter scale shall be extended in compressed form to a reading of 6 times full load current.4.5.4 All motor starters shall be supplied with control power transformers. Control power t

38、ransformers shall have both primary legs and one of the secondary legs fused. The other secondary leg shall be grounded to the ground bus. The primary voltage shall be 400V, 50Hz. Secondary voltage shall be 110VAC.4.5.5 Test facilities shall be provided to permit operation of the motor starter witho

39、ut energizing the power circuit.4.5.6 Motor starters rated 5kW and above shall be provided with facilities for switching the motor heaters. Refer to clause .5.7 Motor contactor shall derive control power from within each starter unit via a 110VAC control power transformer.4.6 OTHER FEEDERS4.

40、6.1 These shall consist of one or more of the following components as specified on the one line diagram/data sheets:a. Molded case thermal magnetic circuit breaker-fault make, load break, mechanically interlocked with door/withdrawal mechanism, padlockable in the off and on positions and fitted with

41、 additional auxiliary contacts and trip coil wired out to terminals. Feeder circuit breakers shall be plug-in type.b. Control, indication fuses shall be the HRC type.c. Protective devices as specified on the one line diagram. All protective devices shall be provided with manual reset.d. Other items

42、as specified on the single line diagram and data sheets.e. Contactor duty,class and utilization category as specified on schematic diagrams.Contactor and protective device shall be coordinated coordinated to ensure that contactor fault rating is not exceeded.f. Ammeters and current transformers shal

43、l be fitted to feeders of 22kW and above.4.7 BUSBARS4.7.1 Busbars and connections shall be manufactured from hard drawn copper.4.7.2 Busbars shall be air ulated and sleeve/coated.4.7.3 Horizontal busbars shall be of the same cross sectional area throughout the length of the switchgear.4.7.4 Phase bu

44、sbars shall be run in a separate compartment no requiring access for any other purpose.4.7.5 All busbars shall be marked to indicate the phase coloring, which shall be green, yellow, brown for R.S.T. phase.4.7.6 An earthing busbar shall be provided along the full length of the switchgear with provis

45、ions for earth cable connections at each end. The earthing busbar shall be colored yellow and green.4.7.7 Busbars and connections shall be adequately sized, braced and supported to withstand the mechanical forces and thermal effects resulting from the rated short circuit current and carry certificat

46、ion from a recognized testing authority.4.7.8 Busbar connections joints shall be silver-plated and shrouded by means of clip on shrouds or alternatively be encapsulated.4.7.9 The arrangement of busbar for R.S.T. s from top to bottom for high and low, from left to right for vertical, from front to re

47、ar for horizontal.4.8 EARTHING4.8.1 All metallic non current carrying parts of the switchgear shall be bonded together and connected to the earth busbar.4.8.2 All doors shall be bonded to the ma tructure by means of a flexible copper connection arranged so that it cannot be trapped as the door is op

48、ened or closed.4.8.3 Withdrawable parts shall be effectively earthed until they are completely withdrawn with all power and control connections disconnected.4.8.4 Provision shall be made adjacent to the cable termination, for earthing cable armoring to the earth busbar.4.8.5 Integral earthing shall

49、be provided on feeder circuits for cable earthing, and on incoming circuit breakers for busbar and cable earthing.4.9 INTERNAL WIRING4.9.1 Internal wiring shall have 600V/1000V grade ulation stranded copper conductors, minimum size 1.5mm Internal wiring within the switchgear shall be securely

50、 held in position, either loomed or run in conduit/trunking. Wiring trunking and conduits shall be adequately sized to accommodate future additions.4.9.3 Bus wires for closing, tripping, control, indication and heaters shall be run within the switchgear.4.9.4 Wiring identification shall be by number

51、ed and/or lettered ferrules of ulating material adjacent to the terminals.4.9.5 Wiring connections to door mounted equipment shall be loomed, wrapped in flexible conduit and be firmly clamped at both ends to prevent movement at terminations.4.9.6 All control and auxiliary wiring for external connect

52、ions shall be brought out to individual terminals on a readily accessible terminal block. 20% spare terminals shall be allowed for future use.4.9.7 Wires shall be terminated using compression type lugs or crimp sleeves.4.9.8 Wiring trunking, conduit and ulation shall be manufactured from flame retar

53、dant materials. Low smoke, zero halogen material is preferred.4.9.9 Motor and power wiring shall be connected directly to the contactor or circuit breaker.4.9.10 All internal wiring wire shall be flame retardant. Low smoke, zero halogen material is required.4.10 CABLE TERMINATIONS4.10.1 Cable termin

54、ating facilities and terminals shall be suitable for the specified cable type and conductor size.4.10.2 VENDOR shall provide cable terminating facilities with undrilled gland plates of sufficient dimensions to terminate the specified cables. Direction of cable entry shall be as stated on the data sh

55、eets.4.10.3 Positioning of cable terminations shall avoid obstruction of other cable terminations,removable covers, etc. and provide easy access for terminating cables.4.10.4 Cable supports shall be provided, where practicable, by the VENDOR to avoid undue strain on the cable termination.4.10.5 Read

56、ily accessible screw-type terminal blocks shall be provided for incoming control wire connections. All secondary wiring terminal blocks shall be shrouded pattern, Kippon type SAK2.5 or equal. Sufficient spares shall be allowed for future use.4.10.6 The number of wire connected to each terminal shall

57、 not exceed two.4.11 AUXILIARY SUPPLIES4.11.1 Auxiliary supplies, such as tripping, and the trip indication shall be in accordance with the data sheets.4.11.2 Circuit breaker closing power shall be supplied from rectifiers fed from the supply side of each incoming power circuit breaker.4.11.3 All auxiliary supplies except tripping shall be individually fused/protect
