(投影片1)my topic is listening and speaking, from english book 4, unit 2 that must be hard on you. to make my presentation much clearer(投影片2)i am to explain it in 7

2、 aspects: i. teaching materials &students ii. teaching objectivesiii.teaching focuses and difficulties iv.teaching and learning approaches v. teaching procedures . blackboard design vii. teaching reflectionsnow i am gonna explain these parts one by one. (投影片3)so here is the teaching materialsthis co

3、ntent is to train ss listening and speaking abilities. its arranged two lesson. its task is to arouse students interests in describing relationships and develop their eq of comforting the troubled. therefore, it lays a foundation for the whole unit. there are three parts. the first part is warm-up t

4、o arouse ss interests ; the second part is to present a problem about getting on with roommates ; the third part is to show us how to express sympathy in specific situations. thus, they were connected to each other and influenced each other .and next,(投影片4) introduce something about my students to y

5、ou. my students are from class 1, grade 2.they major in mechanism, and most of them are boys, so they lack confident in spoken english and be shy to role-play, but they are pleased to talk in pairs or groups and interested in describing relationshipsbased on the analysis of the material and students

6、 (投影片5) i set my teaching objects as follows: 1. knowledge object: 1. ss will master some new keys to describe relationship.2. ss will learn the pattern of expressing sympathy.skills object: 1.ss will improve their abilities on how to do listening tasks.2.ss will can make up new dialogues to express

7、 sympathy.moral object: 1.ss will be inspired the interests of describing relationships.2.ss will be helped to improve their eq of being with others.in order to achieve all these objects,(投影片6) i think the teaching focus and difficulties should fall on these points:focal points: 1.students will be i

8、nspired the interests in describing relationships. 2.students will master the key phrases and expression.difficult points: 1.how to get students to use listening skills properly to do listening tasks.2.how to help them use the expressions to make up dialogues.teaching aids in order to make my class

9、vivid and have a larger capacity of knowledge, ill take good advantage of the multi-media and overhead projectorwell, how to achieve the teaching objects better? and how to stress the focal points and breakthrough the difficult points? (投影片7) based on the modern social communication teaching theorie

10、s, ill adopt situational method, task-based method, audio-visual teaching method and pwp method, meanwhile, the new standard curriculum and the syllabus emphasizes the idea that teaching should take the students as the masters so during my teaching process, i will help them master language from cont

11、rolled activity,semi-controlled to information-gap ,in the end ,reach to real tasks ,thus inspire ss to autonomous study and cooperative study ). now, id like to talk about my teaching procedures(投影片8). i want to carry them out in the following steps:here (投影片9)is step 1. free talk presenting a situ

12、ation to inspire ss to discuss: whats your most positive and negative character?the purpose of this step is to catch ss attention next is warm-up,in order to help ss enlarge the vocabulary about describing character(投影片10)i designed 3activities, first is to brainstorm the more adjectives ,second is

13、play a game to use the adjectives,third(投影片11) is to classify them and make some supplements. since different people have different feature, its difficult to get on well with others. as for pre-listening(投影片12)i try to lead ss to discuss: what problem have you met with your families, your roommates,

14、 or your friends ? then predict the main idea for the listening material.then (投影片13) ill play the tape and ask ss listen carefully to tick which is true about jim .by doing this to train ss listening skills of catching important information. in order to help ss to grasp some details better(投影片14) ,

15、i will palay again and ask ss to fill in the blanks.next(投影片15)i will help ss to deal with some difficultiesthen(投影片16)highlight the sample to achieve the semi-controlled activities.after the understanding of the phrases and sample,(投影片17)ask ss to work in groups to role-play the dialogue.in order t

16、o achieve the real speaking ability,(投影片18)encourage ss to make up dialogues according to the given situation then role-play it.thus it can both practice students oral english and improve their cooperative ability. based on the above situation,lead to listening and speaking b(投影片19) .like the above

17、process, i design pre-while-post listening activities.first(投影片20)is pre-listening activity1: facing the terrible situations, what kinds of words can comfort the troubled? list as many expressions as you can. then have a predication for the next listening materialas for while-listening (投影片21)so i d

18、esigned 2 activities :task 1: listen and match the main idea with each part .to train ss listening skills of catching main ideas.task 2: (投影片22)listen again to complete the conversationsto train ss skills of catching the important informationas for post-listening(投影片23)i designed 2 activitiesactivit

19、y 1 to help ss to master the language points betteractivity2 (投影片24)lead ss to stress t the strategy of expressing sympathyto develop their ability of using language(投影片25)so i ask ss to use 16 to practice it. activity 1:to improve their ability using english freely in the special situations, ask th

20、em to work in groups to make up the new dialogues imitating the above samples.activity 2:(投影片26)to help ss develop the confidence in speaking ,ask them to role-play and have a competition.then is the self-evaluation(投影片27), ask ss to refine their study ability and cooperative ability according to the form.now(投影片28) its homeworkindividual work1.copy the new words and phrases. 2.preview the words and expressions in the reading part.group work: work in groups.role play the dialogue with the sentence patterns.as for blackboard
