The purpose of this metal stamping die standard is to provide detailed instructions for use in the design, construction, and testing of all metal stamping dies supplied to the Su-dan Corporation本份模具标准是向所有提供给Su-dan公司的五金模具的设计、组立、试模提供细节指导。1. Su-dan requires die(s)
2、 to produce finished parts that conform to:Su-dan要求模具制造的产品应与以下保证一致:a. The part drawing. 产品图面b. Including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.形状尺寸及公差c. All metal stamping dies supplied to Su-dan will comply with the requirements specified herein and as stated in the die design and construction data sheets.所有供应给Su-dan的

All dies will be constructed for inter-changeability of perishable die blocks, punches, retainers, die buttons, and pilots.模具需保证易坏的镶快、冲头、固定器、引导冲组装的易换性。B. Metal Stamping Dies - General Requirements: 五金模具一般要

The Su-dan Engineer shall complete and submit data sheet with each die proposal request (Including shut height, feed levels,parallels, etc.).Su-dan工程师应填写及提供每一套模具方案要求的资料表(包括闭模高度、送料高度、垫脚等)2. Data sheet will be updated at final die design review,
9、 including the Project Engineer and the vendors recommendations, which will become part of the general die specifications.资料表在最终模具审核时应该更新,项目工程师及供应商的建议都将成为普通模具规范的一部分。B. Die design approval: 模具设计审核1. A strip layout is required on all parts before formal design is started. The strip layout is to reflec
10、t the stock width, the progression, and the tonnage required to produce the stamping. Strip layouts should be developed so that scrap pieces are not left in the die.在正式设计之前必须提供料带排布,料带包含料带宽,步距,冲床吨位,料带应保证废料不停留在模具上.2. To conserve material, the edge of the part may be the edge of the coil material where
11、ver the part design will permit. Using edge of coil material as part entity will require written approval from the Tool Engineer.为了节约料,产品边可使用材料边,如使用卷料边,需要模具工程师的书面批准!3. The strip should be developed to maintain maximum strip strength for the greatest possible distance through the die.料带应该强化到最大强度以通过最大
12、的模板距离4. A die should be designed to minimize any strip distortion which would tend to change the distance between pilot holes (alter the progression).模具设计应保证最少的任何改变料带步距的料带扭曲.5. All die designs will include part number, stamped on the part if indicated on the part print and a Su-Dan ID. stamp if requ

A right and left hand part, if symetrically opposite, will be equipped with either “R” and “L”identification on each part

Julian date stamps (interchangable) will be required on all safety parts.7.All die capable of producing multiple level designs from that die, must be equipped with a provision for interchangable part identification to distinguish all variations capable of being produce

All die drawing numbers plus special die drawings will be supplied at preliminary review.在初级设计中所有模具图纸必须完全提供。9. Provision for loading and unloading of raw materials for all dies, a

Designs will avoid excessive use of lubrication to produce stampings。在模具设计中应该避免过多的使用润滑油去制造产品。11. If stock does not start against a pitch notch (positive stop) a start mark for
18、first hit will be necessary.如果条料没有步距开口槽(正极停止)送进,首次冲压条料送到位置的标记是有必要的。12. Full scale preliminary drawings must be reviewed on site between Project Manager and Vendor. Drawings must be approved by Project Manager prior to the start of construction.在项目经理与供应商规定的时间必须对全尺寸的初级设计进行审核,在组装开始之前图面必须得到项目经理的承认。13. T
19、he die supplier will furnish in writing the developed blank size along with the preliminary tool drawing(s).在提交初级设计的同时供应商应提供下料尺寸。14. All die designs are to be originated and dimensioned using inch standards.所有的模具设计用英制原点标注。 15. Dies are to be designed so they can be maintained in the press using inse
20、rts in forms and cut off sections. All forming inserts must be adjustable to accommodate stock thickness variance.设计时应考虑使用成形入子及刀口入子,所有的成形入子应该可以根据料厚的变化可以调整。16. Wear points of the die sections must be inserted for economical maintenance, replacement cost, and adjustability for stock variance.所有模具入子耐磨的

The position of the ball seat and key flats must be noted on stock list when not in standard position

24、Detail drawing(s) of all perishable trim and form sections with material identified. Detail drawing(s) will be on 8.5” x 11” paper with Su-dan title block provided in a binder and/or Cad data. 所有的易磨损的冲头以及成形块必须用细部图表示并注明材料,细部图将使用Su-dan 用文件夹或Cad提供的8.5” x 11”标题框。20. Die progress reports are to be submit
25、ted twice a month to the Su-dan Project Manager.每个月应向Su-dan项目工程师提交两次的模具进度报告。21. Paper is to be 34” x 22” with the standard Su-dan title block.图纸应为34” x 22”大并使用Su-dan的标准图框。22. If roll sized drawings are supplied they will be folded to 34” x 22” size with the title block located in the lower right han
26、d corner.如果提供的为卷纸图纸,应该折叠成34” x 22”大并使标题框位于右下角落。23. Completed die designs are to be reviewed and approved before die construction begins.在模具组装开始之前完整的模具图纸必须被审核及承认。 C. Die design ownership: 模具设计所有权1. The die design supplied to Su-dan under a design and build purchase agreement will become the property
27、of Su-dan. Therefore, no restrictions will be placed on the die design drawings and diskettes by the vendor.根据设计及组装购买合同,Su-dan对应给Su-dan的模具设计具有所有权。因此,供应商应无保留的供应所有的图纸及相关磁片。 D. Die noise: 模具噪音1. During the die design and build, consideration will be given to the following:在模具设计及组装中,应考虑以下几点: a. Grind sh
28、ear. 修模刀口b. Stagger punches. 冲头防呆c. Minimize pressure at die shut height. 在闭模时压力应该最小。F. Die design responsibility: 模具设计责任1. The die design, construction, function, and ability of the die to produce acceptable repetitive production parts will be the sole responsibility of the die supplier.供应商对模具设计、组装
29、、功能以及反复制造产品的能力负主要责任。2. Any errors found in the dies during tryout and final acceptance test will be corrected by the die supplier at no additional cost to Su-dan.任何在模具试模及接受过程中发现的错误应由供应商更正,任何相关费用与Su-dan无关。G.Die performance: 模具性能1. All dies to be designed and constructed considering optimal production
30、 rates as designated by the Porject Manager. The Goal is to explore innovative techniques to increase the press Speed at which these dies will operate. This in turn translates Into higher production capacities, in a shorter period of time.在模具设计及组装中应考虑由项目经理提出的最佳生产速率,这个目的就是研究更新的技术去增加模具生产冲床的速率。这将转换为在更短
31、的时间内获得更高的制造能力2. All new dies will produce Su-dan production parts to meet first parts approval and part run rate before final acceptance.在模具最终接受前,所有生产Su-dan产品的模具必须获得首件承认以及产品生产速率V. Die Design Criteria 模具设计标准A. Preferred components: 首选的零件1.All metal stamping die(s) supplied to Su-dan will be construct
32、ed using the preferred components already identified.所有供应给Su-dan的五金模具都应使用已经证明的首选零件组装。B. Production part materials - Die design relationship : 产品的材料 (与模具设计有关) 1. The production material thickness will be used when calculating the die design dimensions-check with Project Manager for exact tolerances.当

To optimize material usage, flat blank nominal material thickness will be used along with the minimum inside form radii to calculate material used.为提高材料的利用率,将使用最小的内侧半径及平的材料厚度来计算材料的用量。C. Calculating operation tonnage of die: 计算模具工作吨位1. The calculated operating tonna
34、ge of the die will include stripping pressure.计算出的模具工作吨位应包含脱料力。2. The stripping pressure for the press tonnage will be calculated with the die closed.冲床吨位中的脱料力应为模具闭合时的压力。D. General die life and construction: 模具寿命与组装 1.All dies will be provided with a minimum of 4 steel “set blocks,” or stop blocks p
35、ositioned over the parallels. 所有的模具应包含至少四个位于垫脚上的限位块或者限位柱 a. Size of set blocks to be determined by: 限位块的尺寸由以下条件决定(1) Die area 250 square inches or less, use 2 inch diameter round or comparable area-rectangular set blocks. 当模具尺寸小于或等于250平方英寸,使用直径位2英寸的限位柱或同等面积的限位块。(2) Die are over 250 square inches, us
36、e 3 inch diameter set blocks. 当模具尺寸大于250平方英寸时,使用3英寸直径的限位块。 b. Set blocks will have a .050” deep by .250” wide slot for soft lead coining at shut height. Set block to be stamped, or die shoe to be stamped “.050” near set block.限位块将有一条.050”深 .250”款的槽,在限位块上或者模座上刻上“.050” 3. Die sections will have stagge
37、red hole patterns for one-way assembly. 为方便组模模具入子应使用防呆孔方式 3. Die section(s) will be a minimum of 1.5” thick. 模具刀口入子至少有1.5英寸厚。a.There must be a .375-.500” cutting land with all wire burned sections or holes for all parts. These sections must be undercut at 1 taper to provide the desired cutting land.
38、 所有线割的刀口入子必须有.375-.500”的刀口直深并有1的落料锥度。b. Dies should be designed for use of wire E.D.M. on die sections, trim and notch punches where applicable. Traditional die making practice must be used so each section can be worked during the repair process. All large wire burned sections should be segmented wh
39、en possible.有切口及开槽的地方,模具刀口入子都应设计成线割,传统的模具制造方法可以利用这样,每一个入子在维修中都能够工作,所有大的线割部件只要可能都应该分段。4. Cutting sections will be ground or finished by E.D.M. to remove decarb. All die sections will have a ground seating surface.所有的冲裁入子都应该研磨或者用E.D.M.精加工除去,所有的模具入子都应有一个研磨放置面。 5. All pierce die holes will be buttoned u
40、nless otherwise specified.除非其他说明,所有的下模冲孔都应使用入子。6. Screw holes will be counterbored in the die section . Screw heads will be a minimum of 3/8” plus die cutting land below the die section surface, and screw threads must enter no less than 1.5 times diameter. 在入子上的螺丝孔必须沉头,螺丝头必须沉入模具入子下表面3/8”加上刀口直深,螺丝至少锁
41、入1.5倍螺丝直径。 7. Where possible, screws will be hex socket head cap screws. Other types of screws, such as set screws, will be hex socket. 只要空间允许,都使用内六角沉头螺丝,其它种类的螺丝,譬如固定螺丝,必须是内六角的 8. Refer to company press information to determine the proper shut height, die size, and parallel size needed. 根据公司冲床情况决定适当
42、的闭模高,模具尺寸以及需要的垫脚尺寸。 a. Parallels are to be ground both top and bottom. 垫脚应该研磨上下两个面。b. Parallel mounting screws will be 2 different sizes from one end to the other. 两端垫脚固定螺丝必须为不同的尺寸c. The 2 outer and center parallel on both top and bottom shoe if present are to:上模及下模的两个最外端的和中间的垫脚如果有的话必须为: (1) Extend
43、3” from the side of the die. 从模具侧向外延伸3英寸 (2) Are to be cut into a clamping foot with a maximum height of 2” with a 1” slot for clamping. 应该切割成带有2” 高及 1” 固定槽的固定垫脚d. The upper shoe if no parallels are present will have 1” clearance slots for fastening.如果没有上垫脚应该开1” 的固定槽 。 e. Die handling holes of ” or
44、1” are required on both sides of the top and bottom shoes. 在上下模座两侧应该有” 或者 1”的起吊孔。f. All parallels with integral feet should be located on 6” J.I.C. centers.所有整数尺寸的垫脚应该位于6” J.I.C.中心。g. Provide adequate clearance for slug removal. 提供足够的落料间隙。g. Proper clearance for Hi-Lo forks between the bottom parall

A keyway slot must be on parallels for centering die on bolster. 1.020” wide and 1” deep.在垫脚上应提

Large weldments in die structure will be machined on the mating surfaces, screwed together, welded, and normalized before final machining. 模具中的大型烧焊件必须在配合面上进行加工并用螺丝所在一起,在最终加工前必须焊接及处理。 9.Welding on trim steels to make corrections or modifications is acceptable only to compl
47、ete tryout and first piece approval. Welded trim steel sections must be remade and retried before die is shipped. Welded form steels must be approved by Project Manager.对剪断入子进行更正和变更所做的烧焊仅用于试模及首件承认,在模具船运之前烧焊的入子必须重制并再次试模,对成型的部件进行烧焊必须经过项目经理的同意。10. All overhung items, gages, hoses, valves, electrical wi
48、res or boxes will be protected with heavy duty guarding, from lift truck mast.所有悬挂物体,量侧器,软管,阀门,电子线及包装都必须很好的保护,避免碰到插车天线11. Dies with thrust characteristics must be properly heeled and keyed.带冲刺特征的模具必须有适当的跟刀及键块 a. Heel blocks to have a minimum of 1/8” heeling before work is started.在工作之前跟刀必须有1/8”长度导正。
49、b. Heel blocks should have screws located on the side of the block toward the thrust.跟刀靠向冲头一侧应该有螺丝定位。12. Use D2 steel or better on all cutting and forming sections with heavy usage. Provide kicker pins in punch sections and spring plungers in the stripper when necessary for positive strip removal. E

Parts and scrap cannot be mixed. 产品及废料不能混合。b. On dies where multiple parts are made, parts must be kept seperat

Flattening and restrike sections are to be provided, as dictated by part configuration and part print specif

Flattening, forming, and coining steels will go through the stripper in lieu of using the stripper to perform above listed die functions.根据产品功能以及产品图面指示,应提供整平以及回压入子,在使用脱料板的地方,整平,成型,压印冲子应穿过脱料板执行以上功能。16. All dies containing a restrike station should have a parallel under restrike station. Para
53、rllel should have a minimum width to cover entire restrike area. 在有回整工步的地方,必须有一个垫脚支撑,垫脚最小宽度应该覆盖回整区域。17. All dies containing coining stations shall have a minimum .750” hardened plate under each station for support.在有压印工步的地方,至少有一块.750”厚的热处理板支撑。18. In dies using shave applications, it is best to use a
54、 two-out die configuration. This is used to balance cutting forces shave punches must be heeled. Shave area to be outboard of strip stock. Use double pilots to locate parts. Use pilots that are located in lower die half. Use two shave stations as follows:在剪边模具中,最好使用一出二的结构,这有助于平衡冲裁力,剪切冲头必须有靠刀,剪切靠向料带的
