1、“新目标”英语八年级下册课堂教学实录宝鸡电力设备厂子校 王 瑾编者按:2008年4月10日,市教研室组织对“陕西省义务教育段课程改革的现状、问题及对策研究”初中段市、县区级重点实验校进行课题包抓调研。,在宝鸡电力设备厂子校调研时,英语教研员任军利听课后认为,王瑾老师这节课有研究价值。经过与王老师交流探讨,反思教学过程,修改教学设计,现予以发表,请大家发表意见。 宝鸡市教育局教研室教材版本:人教版“新目标”英语八年级下册课题:unit 6 (how long have you been collecting shells?) 第一课时语言目标:describe a famous person.授
2、课时间:2008年4月10日教学过程: 本单元的教学内容是本册书的一大难点,学生不易理解,接受及掌握。因此,教师应在教学方法上多下功夫,找出易于学生接受的方法。以下是我在这一课时教学过程,希望能得到各位教师的指正。i、preparation 领读 page 41 part 2 内容。 reviews of unit 1-5. say something about the four conversations. then repeat the key points of reported speech、the past progressive tense、 the simple future
3、tense and giving advice. (新课前的简短复习是很有必要的。它可以起到承上启下的作用。使得学生对已学过的知识得以回顾,加深记忆,又可以自然地过度到新知识。)ii、presentation ask them to look at the blackboard. then draw a time line like this: s1 started english 19- 1995 nowa time linethen say: this is a time line. it shows us the years from 19- to the present. lets p
4、ut some information on it. t: student 1, when did you start studying english? s1: i started studying english in 1995.so write the information on the time line with colour chalk. ( 此时用一个 time line来表示,既直观又易于学生理解,同时还便于以下的进一步教学。)1、 师生共同举例。say: another way of saying it is “i have been studying english si
5、nce 1995.”write down the sentence: i have been studying english since 1995.t: s2, when did you start playing basketball?(colour chalk)s2: at 7 am.t: he has been playing basketball since 7am. (colour chalk)then write down the answer. t: s3, when did you start working on computer?s3: i have been worki
6、ng on computer at 8 am.t: at? then correct at and tell them the reason. (句子中有具体的时间时,应该用一般过去时态。) so we should say “i have been working on computer since 8 am. look, i will write this sentence on the blackboard, but , (此处用for而不是since。) look carefully.write: she has been working on computer for two hou
7、rs. say: this time we use for, not since. why? i will give you some examples. look, then think about it.two hours1995 for + ten minutes 7 oclock since + five weeks ten minutes ago when he was one year old (red colour)( yellow colour )ask: who can tell me the differences between “for” and “since”?s4:
8、 for是个时间段, since是个时间点。t: right. 但不是很准确。 since之后接时间点,for之后接时间段。我们现在再看例句1,老师把 1995改为i was one year old. 再读此句。so we can use a clause after “since”. 2、 教师点拨归纳。 say: in this unit,we are going to talk about how long weve been doing things. a new tense-the present perfect progressive tense. first, the form
9、, look, write down with red chalk: have/has +been+doing then explain it and tell students the meaning of this tense. (此处的教学是一关键,因为学生第一次见到现在完成进行时,会感到很陌生且会有迷惑的感觉,它不象unit3学习过去完成时那么容易被学生接受,因为学生有现在完成时的基础。所以在教学中我采用精讲点拨,逐点渗透的方法,启发学生的思维,对于学生易错处和迷惑处提出问题,自然会发现问题,在学生们的讨论和疑惑中逐步引出正确答案,相信学生会有豁然开朗的感觉,并且一定会记忆深刻。)3、
10、 点题板书。 at this time,write the title of unit 6 on the blackboard.unit 6 how long have you been collecting shells?(在学生理解了现在完成进行时的意义和构成之后,再适时的板书课题,会使学生感觉自然的知识呈现,同时体验到知识的产生和变化过程,增强学生的学习兴趣和求知欲望。)4、 借题发挥 how long是上学期学过的内容,自然会提到 how long does it take you to walk to school? ask them how to use “it takes som
11、ebody some time to do something.拓展-how long can i keep this book?延续性动词和非延续性动词的用法。用keep替换borrow,用have替换buy.(作为知识拓展,此处的讲解既复习了上册unit4的重要内容,又使学生了解了延续性动词和非延续性动词的区别,为以后unit 9 现在完成时态的教学做好了铺垫。5、 new words of page 44, 45, 46. turn to page107 . teach new words. explain: collect(v.) _collection(n.) raise tell
12、the students the differences between them. rise then give some examples. read the new words after me.iii、practice1. say: now lets look at page 44, language goal first. read it. then ask some questions.t: s4, language goal 中的复合句含有什么从句?s4: 宾语从句。t: 宾语从句的语序是什么语序?s4: 陈述句的语序。t: quite good!2、say:now lets c
13、ome to part 1a-groupwork. here are three conversations. (read and explain them.) you are going to talk about some things you did in the last 24 hours, understand?please underline “have。 been in” in question 3. explain it is “the present perfect tense”.now lets discuss the questions. please in groups
14、.walk around the class and help those who need help. 3、check the answers. t: s5, how long did you sleep last night? s5: i slept eight hours last night. t: s6, what about you? s6: i slept for ten hours. (纠正slept发音) t: s7, when did you start class today? s7: i started class at 8 am. t: s8, how about y
15、ou? s8: i started at 8 am, too. t: s9, how long have you been in class today? s9: i have been in class for one and a half hours. t: very good! please look at the picture in this part. who can you see and what are they doing? s10, please answer. s10: some people are skating and some are having a rest
16、. t: good! s11, what is the woman in the middle? or what does she do? or whats her job? s11: she is a reporter. (先是学生分4人一组进行讨论,因为三个问题很贴近实际,所以学生情绪很高涨,乐于和他人交流,觉得有话可说,有话想说。这一环节充分体现出合作探究,创新学习的学习方法,在学习的过程中学生们会感到轻松,自如,快乐,有效。 通过提问学生1a中的问题以及老师随即想到的和图片及所学知识有关的问题,可以检测学生讨论的效果。 反思-可以让学生自己选出代表来回答问题,而不是教师点名提问。这样会
17、更好的提高学生学习的主动性。)3、 1b. ask the students to look at the picture and tell what is happening.tell them the students in the picture are at a skating marathon. explain the chart for them. then say: you will write sentences about the other people . play the recording.check the answers and read the sentence
18、s.tell them we can use the past tense or the present perfect tense.(这一部分的教学是对学生听力的训练。有了前面这么多的讲解和训练,相信学生完成这个表格应该没有什么困难的。)iv、production 1c, pairwork. ask two pairs to read the conversation for us. ask them to circle “ shes ” and “ for ”. tell them “shes”= “she has”, not “she is”.then students make their own conversations. ask some pairs to act.(通过两人一组的模仿对话练习,学生应该会对本课时的知识内容有了比较深刻的理解,所以基本上可以运用自如。 反思-练习时间过短,只有少部分学生得到了表演的机会,应该有更多的学生在课堂是呈现自己的能力和知识。)4、do some exercise.translate the following sentences into english. (1) 他已经学习了3个多小时了。 (2)我们已经步行了一个半小时了。(2) 她已经睡了10小时了吗?then check the a
