4、。其中 的 is 和 are 可与 not 分别缩写成 isnt 和 arent(但 am not 不能缩写成 amnt)。陈述句 变为一般疑问句时,将 am,is 或 are 提到句首,并且 首字母大写,句末改为问号。 He is from New York.他来自纽约。 He is not/isnt from New York.(否定句) Is he from New York? (一般疑问句) 2. 实义动词的一般现在时的句式转换 (1)陈述句的否定形式:当主语是第三人 称单数时,谓语动词之前应加 doesnt,原 句中的第三人称单数形式谓语动词需改为 动词原形;当主语不是第三人称单数时

5、,只 需在谓语动词前加 dont。 John speaks English.约翰说英语。 John doesnt speak English. They dont live in Mexico City. They live in Mexico City.他们住在墨西哥城。 (2) 一般疑问句的构成及回答: 当主语是第三人称单数时,在句 首加助动词 Does,同时把句中的谓语动 词改为动词原形,句子结构为“Does + 主语 +动词原形+其他成分?”。肯定回 答为“Yes,主语 + does.”,否定回答为 “No,主语 + doesnt.”。 Yes,she does./No,she doe
