2、ersion 1.0Aug 2010TOOLS AND SUPPLIES TOOLS AND SUPPLIES REQUIRED Soldering iron, solder, glue, plastic spacer, razor knife, tweezers, masking tape, epoxy glue (NOT SUPPLIED), cloth rags, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), cotton swabs, and, if possible, audio oscillator and amplifier. MATERIALS SUPPLIED Tub

3、e of Beyma glue (blue color), Latex (white color), Plastic spacer, Moving parts, gaskets, dust cap.Version 1.0Aug 2010PREPARATIONUsing razor knife, remove old cone-coil assembly, and clean with MEK the surfaces, where suspension and surround will mount, of old parts and glue.Version 1.0Aug 2010PREPA

4、RATIONUnsolder the old voice coil leads from terminals.Version 1.0Aug 2010PREPARATIONUsing razor knife, remove old cone-coil assembly, and clean with MEK the surfaces, where suspension and surround will mount, of old parts and glue.Version 1.0Aug 2010PREPARATIONFold a piece of masking tape lengthwis

5、e around a piece of cardboard (70 mm x 25 mm x 1 mm), with adhesive side exposed and insert it in the air gap and rotate. Repeat this until tape remains clean when withdrawn. Check gap with magnifying light. Clean top plate and magnet of any debris.Version 1.0Aug 2010INSTALLATIONUsing the tube of Be

6、yma glue supplied, apply a bead of glue on frame surfaces where suspension and surround will mount, and also over the spider and surround. Wait for 3 minutes.Version 1.0Aug 2010INSTALLATIONInsert the plastic spacer into the new voice coil assembly, allowing overhang 10-12 mm below bottom of voice co

7、il. Slide spacer tube over the pole piece and down into gap, making sure tinsel leads on assembly are aligned properly with terminals on frame. Carefully guide voice coil assembly down spacer onto frame and into proper position.Take a small rag dipped in MEK and use it to press down on spider where

8、it joins the frame. Work back and forth to even out spider and secure bond on frame. Repeat for surround, working out bumps.Version 1.0Aug 2010INSTALLATIONSpread white glue over the surround using a brush, be careful not to put white glue over the gasket bed. Lay a bead of glue from the Beyma tube o

9、n gasket area. Wait for 5 minutes and place gasket segments on frame in proper position. The white glue can be put at the end of the repair (easier, but takes longer time)Version 1.0Aug 2010INSTALLATIONLay a bead of glue from the Beyma tube on gasket area. Wait for 5 minutes and place gasket segment

10、s on frame in proper position.Rotate down the device and allow glue 7-8 hours to dry Version 1.0Aug 2010INSTALLATION1. Use tweezers to guide tinsel leads through solder lugs. Allow enough slack for full cone excursion, but do not allow leads to touch. Solder leads to terminals and trim excess.Version 1.0Aug 2010INSTALLATIONOnce completely dry, remove plastic spacer and proceed to fix the dust cap. Apply a bead of glue (epoxi glue) on the junction on the dust cap and cone, or in the flange of the dust cap, and
