1、This show, which began on September 22, 1994, presented by NBC channel, has become a classic that everyone knows friends in America. It is about The lives, loves, and laughs of six young friends living in New York City, Manhattan: Chandler Bing, Monica Geller, Rachel Green, Phoebe Buffay, Ross Gelle

2、r, and Joey Tribbiani. These six friends know each other very well and play important roles in each others lives in different ways. The show attracted millions of viewers world wide and ran for an impressive 10 seasons and finally quit in 2004. Friends has become such a classic that the viewers cons

3、ider them as their own friends. Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) Ross is Monicas brother. He has a Ph.D. in paleontology. First in the series, he worked for a museum; his ex-wife divorced him because she decided to be a lesbian; and now he is madly in love with Rachel, but not daring to tell her his fe

4、elings. Rachel Green (Jeniffer Aniston) Rachel is Monicas high school classmate and now her roommate. She used to be a spoilt girl, and didnt have to work. But after she ran away from her wedding, she has to break up with her family and lives independently. Now she is working in Central Perk Coffer

5、House as a waitress, and she has no idea that Monicas elder brother Ross is in love with her. Monica Geller (Courteney Cox) Monica is Ross younger sister, an unsuccessful child compared to Ross in their parents eyes. She is working in a restaurant as a cook, and sharing the apartment with Rachel. Sh

6、e used to be very fat but has become slimmer now. Because of her mother, she likes clean and tidy in an extreme way. Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) Chandler was Ross college mates, and now he is working in an agency. He is humorous and likes to make jokes on other people, but his jokes sometimes make
