As we know ,the teaching material is just a carrier to obtain knowledge. Through this passage ,ss are required to learn aboutat the same time, they are

3、asked to master the vocabulary related to the topic. students four basic skills will also be improved.in addition, it will be helpful to raise their awareness of.Section2teaching aimsFirstKnowledge aims:Are todeduce their function and use from its contextsecondAbility aim:Stimulate /stir/arouse sspa

4、ssion/ardour of exploring nature and experiencing the power of the nature, sense of fighting against sander storms and protecting the environment.now, letturnsto Sectionthree:key points and difficult points1> key points: the function and use of the new words and phrases, and the content of the te

5、xt2> difficult points: somelong and dfficult sentences.How to achieve the aims better ,how to stress the key points and break through the difficultpoints?Lets come topart 2teaching methods and aids1.teachingmethodsI adopt task-based language teachingand “scene-activity”teaching method . it establ

6、ishes a real scene and the interaction between the teacher and the ss,and develop sscommunicative competence. I will offer ss different tasks based on the text to help improve their abilities.2.teaching aidsto make my class lively and brief , convey more information in limited time, I will use : the

7、multi-media ,the computer ,the teaching material and the blackboard.Part 3the analysis of the ss and the methods of studyas senior students, they are sensitive and dignified and experiencing a critial pariod of forming correct view of life and world. They intend to think independently. As for the le

8、arningmethods ,they are poor in cooperation and communication. Some ss are not active in the class. So I llcreate a friendly andrelaxed atmosphere and make ss the masters of my class.In a word, ss will learn to be a successful reader,to think deeper and form positive attitude to the daily life.Ok ,n

9、ow lets come tothe 4th partteaching procedures.Ill divide the lesson into 9 steps.Step1. greetingsIt helps students to change their attention into the new class.Step2.lead inPresent the teaching goals : on the screen. students will have a clear idea of what they will learn in the class. Introduce th

10、e topic-and ask students to speak out any words that come to their mind. It will invoke ss old knowledge and get preparation to the new text.Step3.pre-readingpresent some difficult words on the screen,and give some simple explanation. at last,finishing the blanks using the new words. This section wi

11、ll smooth away the main obstacles while comprehend the passage.Step4. while-readingIt is composed of two sections.1.fast readingread the text quickly and find out the topic sentences. Develop their ability of skimming. 2. intensive readingread the text carefully and answer the following questionWhil

12、e reading, the ss are given the tips:to look through the title,to read the first para and grasp the main idea, to look through the first or last sentence of other paras,to read the last para I will also give some explanation for some long and difficult sentences and finish exercises in activity2,3 a

13、nd 43. give explanation to some long and difficult sentences,and pharases.Step 5post readingI prepare a short passage with some key words taken out. Ask the ss to fill in the blanks. Doing this can consolidate what they learn today.Sbe and cooperative studyThere is a forum, talking about .yo

This new task arouses studentsgood ownership and strong sense of responsibility. in this section, I combine moral education and the learning together.they will feel knowledge is very useful and volunteer to seek more resources related to the topic.Step8.

15、homeworkAfter some volunteers giving their opinions, I will summarize what we learned today and leave the homework-get preparation for the next weektopic.the homework is an extension of the previous lesson.Part5blackboard designA good blackboard design can make ss get key information in limited time. I will make a design like this:The title of the passage is on the top of the blackboard.
