Nouvels works emphasize the materials he uses, as you can see the steel, glass, plastics, metals andwiring come alive in his buildings. Nouvel p

The Torre Agbar conveys thesame sense of those sacred mountains,

8、The 142-meter structure is designed along the lines of two non-concentric egg-shaped cylinders with glass and steelmaking up its pinnacle. The Torre Agbar has 4,500 windowsthat Nouvel designed to allow for the use of natural sunlight, which lower the towers power costs. Moreover,

11、 the naturallaws of air circulation were used to create a natural ventilation system with environmentally friendly cooling gases thathelp protect the ozone layer. Nouvel even used a water-recycling scheme for the building to help cut down on wastingprecious natural resources. The ideals behind the d

12、esign of the Torre Agbar are in line with the trends of our times:protecting the earth and respecting the environment. Insular, recyclable and non-pollutant materials were used as thecore design principles of the building. The designers eschewed the use of materials containing formaldehyde, asbestos
