They are teaching materials,teaching objectives, teachingkey points and difficulties,students analysisteaching methods,teaching aids,teaching procedure and blackboard design.Now,I ll introduce them one by one. Please follow me into the first part.Teaching materials.In this part I ll

3、mainly talk about the status and funtion of the teaching material.Go for It is a series of textbooks compiled for junior middle school students.The central idea of it is to challenge students to gain communicative competence in the study of the culture of this language.Each unit makes full use of la

4、nguage goals to stimulate meaningful conversation between students.Conversation models and tasks are given to show the students how to master appropriate functional patterns.Emphasis is laid on cooperation,communcation and discussion,with students working in pairs or in groups to help them develop t

5、heir language competence.The topic of this unit is physical appearance. The functions are to describe peoples looks. In section A we are provided with some patterns on this topic. And section B is the comprehensive application on the basis of a systematic mastery of section A.Knowingsomething about

6、the material,let comes tothenextpart-Teachingobjectives.I divide the objectives into knowledge objectives, ability objectives and moral objectives.First, knowledge objectives. Basically, in this unit,students should try their best to master some new words,useful expressions and structures.Second,abi

7、lity objectives. To some extent, students will make progress in listening,speaking,reading and writing in class.As a matter of fact in the language learning process,the four skills are inseparable and mutual interactive.They all contribute to the development of the language competence. Therefore act

8、ivities in different forms concerning listening,speaking,reading and writing are introduced to challenge their language skills.Next,moral objectives.According tothe new standard of English curriculum,moraleducation plays an important role in language teaching. In this unit, by the description of the

9、ir friends, teachers and family members,students can learntorespect others and then describe their looks politely .Thus they willsucceed in keeping agood social relationship.Thats it for objectives. 10、are some new words, expressions andstructures, as listed on the screen. The new words are:beard, andglasses.The expressions: new look, not anymore. And the structure: What does he look like?They are the key points students should pay more attention to. As for the difficult point, the ss should use d

11、ifferent adjectives to describe peoples looks. This arrangement is decided by the functions of this unit.Next is Students analysis. Having a clear idea about the textbook is far from adequate to make a good class. We should definitely know something about the main body of our class- the students.Mos

12、t of the junior middle school students are agedfrom 13 to 15.They are active,talkative and creative with strong abilities of memorizing,imitating and performing.So I llprovide real contexts,various tasks andchallenging activities.The purpose is to motivate students learning enthusiasm and cooperativ

22、wledge of present and past tense.This step is designed to introduce the new topic.In this way, students can learn the grammar unconsciously and meanwhile have a better understanding of the topic and structure.Step 3 isPracticeNow we are to start the listening practice. Listening is to internalize th

23、e knowledge about the new topic. In the listening material there are two characters Johnny Dean and Tina Brown. Each has his or her own special qualities, Ill turn on the tape recorderand askss to carry out activity 2a&2b on the textbook.Students should focus on the key points and fill in the ch

24、art.After that they will act the conversation out in groups.Here more chances are offered for themto practice the language points by listening and performing.In addition to listening and speaking, well have reading practice. Beforereading they should pay attention to the 2 pictures and predict the c
