Let me start by ask ing the first questi on. Does every one dream?W: It appears that every one does. Mostl

13、y, whe n people say that they n ever dream, what they really mean is that they don' remember their dreams or they don' think their dreams are important. The reason behind is that they might have been made fun of as a child when they first reported their dreams. Or, it was so frightening that

14、 they just turned off dreaming completely. The other day some one n amed Davis came to me and said that he used to be a great dreamer but sudde nly he stopped hav ing dreams. I asked him what had happened. It turned out that his brother died of a heart attack and he never expected that such a terrib

15、le thing would happe n to a young pers on. Gen erally, whe n there was some frighte ning eve nt and to dream about it was too terrible, people prefer not to dream about it. Actually, the worst thing you can do is stop dreami ng. Because, it means that the bad experie nee was too painful to eve n appear in dreams. As long as you are dream ing about it, and eve n if the dreams are frighte ning, your mind is work ing on it. My pers onal opinion about what dreams do is that they help us deal with our problems.
