1、 瑞安市东山学校教学设计 九上英语 设计者: 课 题:1 Module4 Home alone一、教材、学情分析:第一单元,就学生感兴趣的话题引入教学,使学生能快速投入到课堂活动中。利用多媒体和多种对话形式,引导学生积极参与课堂活动。让学生把所学的语言知识运用到生活中,讨论自己独自在家时遇到的问题,以及如何解决这些问题。第二单元,让学生学会在听和读的过程中获取信息。谈论学生独自在家时,能做和不能做的事情,并且写成一篇短文。第三单元,复习Unit 1和Unit 2的重点词汇和句型,引入教学,使学生明确学习的重点。利用多媒体课件和图片,让学生完成本节课的教学内容,引导学生积极参与课堂活动。让学生运
2、用本单元的词汇和目标语言写句子。二、教学目标:知识目标:1.能正确运用词汇:platform, anybody, miss, passenger, couple, happily, shut, address, a couple of, text message, lock, ourselves, manage, unhappy, order,turn off, on business, be worried about, wake up, burn, hand in, minight, empty.unable to do sth, task,all day long, actually.能
3、力目标:能听懂和阅读关于介绍单独在家经历的语言材料。能通过相关词汇和图片描述自己和他人单独在家的经历;能编写关于独自在家的对话。能掌握sothat引导的结果状语从句,aithough/though引导的让步状语从句。能根据相关信息预测阅读文章内容,并能通过阅读获取相关信息。能够简单描述自己home alone时的状态。能掌握结果状语从句、让步状语从句。能够运用所学的知识,谈论自己独自一人在家的情况。情感目标:通过对本课的学习,学会珍惜与家人在一起的时光,而不是抱怨与不理解。三、教学重难点:1、能听懂和阅读关于介绍单独在家经历的语言材料。2、能运用所学的知识介绍自己单独在家的经历。3、能读懂课文
4、。4、 能掌握sothat引导的结果状语从句,aithough/though引导的让步状语从句,并运用到写作中去。5、掌握状语从句的用法。四、课时安排:5课时五、教学反思:致力于课堂情境的导入的研究,因此在备课过程中尤其注意各个环节的情境导入。本课内容与学生生活实际非常贴近。如学生不能用英语表达,积极引导,然后将相关内容呈现,学生学习课文是成功的。回顾本堂课,从学生的互动,及习题体现,以及听课教师的反映。是一堂成功的教学。而做为执教者,我认为之所以能成功,最重要的是搞好了本堂课的听力和课文这两个大环节的导入。导入中运用了home alone 的电影图片,贴近学生生活和学生感兴趣的话题的设置,以
5、及课文插图的充分运用。可见情境的设置极其重要。但这并不是那么复杂。只要我们用心去思考,情境就在课堂中,这有利于我们轻松上课,学生积极学习。六、教学过程:Unit 1I can look after myself,although it won't be easy for me.【教学目标】词汇platform,meeting,miss,shut,lock,simple anybody,wake sb up,clock,ring,passenger,address,text,text message,couple,a couple of句型1.The meeting in Lhasa i

8、积极调整自己适应现在的生活,使学生畅所欲言,克服了学习的紧张感,以及对将要学习的知识有一些了解。Step 2 Presentation1Work in pairs.Talk about the picture.教师把第26页图片用幻灯片呈现出来,让学生讨论。2Play the tape,and let students listen and answer the questions.(1)Where are Betty and her parents?(2)Is Betty travelling with her parents?3Ask students to listen again an
9、d complete the sentences in Activity 3.完成Activity 3中的三个句子,并核对答案。4学习新单词。利用图片、实物或多媒体呈现新单词和短语,让学生了解其用法和读音:(1)用幻灯片展示一张(供上下车用的)月台、站台图片,从而引出名词platform。(2)展示一张正在开会的图片,引出句子:We are having a meeting.从而引出单词meeting,名词“会议,集会”。(3)教学单词,动词shut“关上、合上”。词组shut up“闭嘴”,shutclose。如:shut the doorclose the door关上门。(4)教学单词l
10、ock,动词“锁上、锁住”,还可作为名词“锁”。(5)不定代词anybody一般用于否定句和疑问句中,肯定句中一般用somebody。(6)展示一张钟表的图片,引出单词clock“钟,时钟”。(7)ring动词“鸣响,发出铃声”,过去式和过去分词为:rung。(8)passenger名词“乘客,旅客”。(9)address名词“地址”。5操练单词。活动小结:教师以图片的形式导入新单词,以图记忆,利用图片让学生拼读,加深记忆。找几名学生比赛记单词,巩固记忆。利用多种形式激发他们的学习热情。Step 3 Practice & Listening1让学生听Activity 4中的对话录音,并
11、跟读,列出Betty能做的事情,并说说为什么她的父母不放心她一个人在家。2让学生逐句翻译对话内容。3教师引导学生学习重点短语和句型。Language points:(1)I'm sorry我很抱歉I'm sorry I can't go to your party.(2)So am I我也是(我也一样)。句型:“sobe/助动词主语”表示主语与前一个人的情况相同,意为“也这样”。Joe was a little upset,and so was I.(3)Have a good trip!祝你旅行愉快!祝福用语。(4)be about to do sth就要/正要She
12、 looked as if she was about to cry.(5)wake sb up叫某人起床There won't be anybody to wake you up in the morning.(6)text message短信Please send me a text message as soon as you get home.(7)a couple of两个/少数几个See you in a couple of weeks!活动小结:通过听力训练,锻炼了学生听的能力,也进一步熟悉了本课的目标语言。Step 4 Speaking教师选几组学生表演对话,锻炼学生的
13、口语表达能力。活动小结:找几组学生分角色表演对话,使学生进入情境中,从而更好地理解对话,同时也锻炼了学生的口语表达能力。Step 5 Discussion & Consolidation1根据对话内容,让学生以小组的形式完成对话后面的五个句子,答案可以不一样,并让学生把自己的答案展示在黑板上,教师检查核对。2完成Activity 5中的七个句子,选出正确的答案。3听Activity 6中的录音,注意学习语音、语调、语速及连读部分,并且跟读。4通过Activity 7中所给出的问题,让学生把答案组合在一起形成一小段对话,既锻炼了学生的组织能力,也培养了学生语言运用的能力。Step 6 S

18、片或多媒体的形式把本单元的新词汇展示出来,共同学习其发音和用法:turn off,order,on business,empty,stomach,classmate,burn,cup,simple,task,tidy up,teenager,ourselves。2操练单词。(1)给学生几分钟时间记单词,然后教师把带有单词的卡片拿出来让学生依次拼读。(2)教师可以把学生分成几组进行单词拼读比赛。活动小结:教师以图片的形式导入新单词,以图记忆,利用图片让学生拼读单词,加深记忆。找几名学生比赛记单词,巩固他们对单词的记忆。利用多种形式调动他们的学习热情。Step 3 Reading1Let stud

23、correct form of the words in the box.(1)教师让学生看框中的单词:burn,cup,empty,order,simple,task,并明白它们的用法,然后让学生根据给出的单词造句并复述Activity 2中的文章。(2)读短文,利用给出的单词完成短文,最后再核对答案。活动小结:复述小短文,让学生进一步地了解课文,提升语言运用能力。Step 5 Writing1让学生再次读文章,列出文中主人公独自在家时能做的和不能做的事情。2和文中主人公比较,让学生说说他们自己在家时能做和不能做的事情,并写下来、列出来。3让学生把所有的句子连起来,尽量用上although或

27、活动小结:让学生在学习新知识的时候,对原来的知识也加以回顾,可以对上节课的内容有一个大体的复习。Step 2 Language practice1Ask students to complete the sentences with the words in the box.There may be more than one answer.(Activity 1)(1)教师要带领学生总结结果状语从句以及让步状语从句。结果状语从句a定义:结果状语从句的从句部分是补充说明主句中谓语动词发生的结果的,通常位于主句之后。结果状语从句中通常不用情态动词,但must,can,could除外。such用在
28、(形容词)名词之前;而so要用在形容词/副词之前,so或that有时会省略掉。但是so that既可以引导目的状语从句也可以引导结果状语从句。b表示“如此以至于”的“so that ”和“such that ”均可引导结果状语从句,其中的such是形容词,修饰名词;so是副词,修饰形容词或副词,具体的搭配形式是:soadj./adv.that,soadj.a/ann.that;sucha/anadj.n.that。让步状语从句a让步状语从句是状语从句中的一种。一般翻译为“尽管”或“即使”,就是我们日常生活中用的“退一步说”的感觉。b引导让步状语从句的连词主要有以下这些:though,altho
29、ugh,while,as,even if,even though,whetheror,no matter疑问词,疑问词ever,despite等。切记although,though不可与but连用,但可以与still和yet连用。cthough和although这两个连词意思大致相同在一般情况下可以互换使用。在口语中,though较常使用,although比though正式,二者都可与yet,still或never,the less连用,但都不能与but连用。【注意】,although引导的让步状语从句位于主句之前的情况较多,though引导的让步状语从句可位于主句之前或主句之后。如:She

Finish Activity 5.教师先总结不定代词的用法。(1)英语中的不定代词有:all,each,both,either,neither,one,none,little,few,many,much,other,another,some,any,no,(a)few,(a)little,both,enough,every等,以及由some,any,no,every构成的合成代词(即somebody,anyone,nothing等)。在这些不定代词中,多数都能作主语、宾语、表语或定语,但是代词none
33、以及由some,any,no和every构成的合成代词只能作主语、宾语或表语,不能作定语,而no和every则只用作定语。(2)本单元主要涉及复合不定代词,包括:something,somebody,someone,anything,anybody,anyone,nothing,nobody,no one,everything,everybody,everyone等。具体使用时应注意以下几点:a复合不定代词被定语修饰时,定语应放在它们的后面。b指人的复合不定代词若用作主语,其谓语动词一般用单数形式,相应的人称代词和物主代词也用单数he,him,his(不一定指男性)。但在非正式文体中常用复数代
34、词they,them,their。c指事物的复合不定代词若用作主语,谓语动词只能用单数形式,相应的人称代词也只能用it,而不用they。danyone,everyone等只能指人,不能指物,且其后一般不接of短语。若是指物或后接of短语,可用any one,every one(分开写)。活动小结:教师总结不定代词的用法,让学生对于重点知识有深入的了解。Step 3 Summary教师引导学生总结本节课的内容。Step 4 Homework1Memorize the vocabulary and phrases.2Make sentences with but,although and so t

42、果状语从句1.【教材原句】My clock rings so loudly that it can certainly wake me up. I became so bored with their orders that I wished they would leave me alone. 以上两句均是以_引导的结果状语从句。在英语中,结果状语从句由连词so.that,_,_,so much/manythat等引导。答案:1. so.that; so that, suchthat 2. 如此以至于;a/an 3. 以便,结果;结果状语从句【对比记忆】(1) sothat 与suchtha
43、t 二者都有 “如此以至” 的意思。so 是副词,只能修饰形容词或副词。当可数名词前有many, few,不可数名词前有much, little修饰时,应采用句型:so many (few, much, little )+ 名词。such 是形容词,后只能接名词。如果这名词是单数可数的,则必须在名词前加冠词a/an 。 sothat与suchthat二者可互相转换。例句: 他是如此诚实的一个人,以至于大家都相信他。 He is so honest that we all believe him. He is such an honest man that we all believe him(
44、2) so that 与sothat so that 意思是“以便,结果”,和sothat两者皆可引导目的状语从句和结果状语从句。如果从句表示的是一种愿望,一种可能要发生的事情或可能产生的结果,应该是目的状语从句,此类从句中一般带有may,might,can,could,will等情态动词;如果从句反映的是一种已经发生的事实,则应认为是结果状语从句。They got up early so that they could catch the first bus. (目的状语从句) =They got up early in order to catch the first bus. 他们早起,
45、以便能赶上第一班公共汽车。The story was so funny that it made everybody laugh. (结果状语从句) 这故事太滑稽了,把大家都逗笑了。III. 话题写作1. 写作话题 本单元所涉及的话题是有关描述孩子和家长之间的矛盾, 以及父母离家后自己如何应对面临的问题,即如何独处的问题。这是一个普遍的社会问题,此作文直接会触及到孩子敏感话题,很有社会和现实意义。2. 写作应用以“My problem”为题写一篇作文。100字左右。短文须包含下列要点:1. What is/was your problem in your life/study?2. Whats

How do/will/did you deal with the problem?3. 写作技巧 1. 此文是记叙作者本人在生活中遇到的问题和烦恼,属于记叙文。要夹叙夹议,结尾加入对该事的感想。 2. 写作文前要梳理好自己的思路,让文章内容充实而不杂乱,内容连贯,表达到位。 3. 注意在时态上把握准确。尽量用单元所学句型和语法知识。4. 常用短语和句型常用短语:cant help crying; too angry to; so bored that常用句型: 1. As a teenager, my life is .2. I hope I
