The GPIB cable to the E4438C is needed for one time loading of iDEN and Mototalk waveforms to the equi

14、型:选择 Little EndianE4438C Generator ParametersSample Rate: 400 kHz使用16QAM波形时将E4438C信号发生器的采样率设置为400kHzFile names: MTS2_!.txt and MTS2_Q.txt文件名为MTS2 i.txtType: 14-Bit Internal Values File Type: Little Endian E4438c Generator ParametersSample Rate: 192 kHz使用MTS2文件时将E4438C的采样率设置为192kHzAfter choosing the
15、correct waveform, press Validate Files then Start Download. After completed downloading the waveform into E4438C, the waveform is then in the Volatile memory. In the next step, store the waveform into the Non-volatile memory.选择正确的波形后,点击Validate Files按钮进行验证,成功后点击Start Download 按钮进行下载波形。下载完毕后将波形永久储存到E
16、4438C仪器中。5.4 Store the iDEN and Mototalk waveforms into Non-volatile memory.将波形储存到仪器中并且保证仪器每次重新启动后都可以选择此波形。Press Mode > Dual ARB > Waveform Segments . Then Press Store All to NVMFM Memory soft key.点击Mode模式按钮,选择 Dual ARB按钮,点击 Waveform Selected按钮进行波形选择,再点击 Waveform Segments按钮进行波形分类,点击Store按钮存储,选
17、择 Store all to NVMFM Memory 按钮存储所有波形到存储器中Should the E4438C be powered down and all waveforms in the Volatile memory are lost. Perform the load waveforms from Non-volatile memory to Volatile memory by following the following steps.当E4438C关机后所有存储在 Volatile存储器中的波形都会消失,点击Load按钮将之前存储的波形调到Volatile存储器中。.Th
18、en, press Load All From NVWFMPress Mode > Dual ARB > Waveform SegmentsMemory soft key.5.5 Zero and Calibrate the Power Meter E4418B将 E4418B 功率计归零和校准Before starting the test, zero and calibrate the power meter by following the steps below: 在开始测试前,需要按照以下的步骤将功率计进行归零和校准。Press the <Preset> an
19、d <Confirm> to preset the power meter key 点击 Preset 按钮并点击Confirm 确认按钮将功率计初始化Remove the power sensor from connection, and press the <Zero/Cal> button. 将 Power 传感器与功率计断开并点击归零校准按钮。Press the <Zero> button to zero the power meter.点击 Zero 归零按钮将功率计读数归零Connect the power sensor to its refer
20、ence output port. Press the <Power Ref> to On. Press the <Cal> button to calibrate the power meter.将功率传感器连接到功率计的输出口,并点击Power Ref 按钮进行基准功率输出,点击Cal 校准按钮进行校准。Press the <Power Ref> to Off.点击 Power Ref 按钮关闭基准功率输出The Power meter is now ready for use. 现在功率计就可以进行使用了。5.6 Path Loss Calibrati
21、onThe path loss calibration consists of three steps.路径衰减的校准包含以下三部分。5.6.1 Measure the Signal Generator Output 测量信号发生器的输出Connect the power meter sensor directly to the signal generator E4438C. Press the <ModOn/Off> button to turn off the modulation. Press < RF On/Off> to turn on the RF. Se
22、t the frequency to the test frequency (Refer to product 12M for the test frequencies). Set the amplitude to -20 dBm. On the power meter E4418B, set the measure frequency to the same test frequency. Record the reading on the power meter. Repeat the measurement for the rest of the test frequencies. Th
23、e measured data are the reference for the path loss calibration.将功率计直接连接到 E4438C 上,点击 MOD 按钮关闭调制功能,点击RF 按钮打开 RF 输出,设置输出频率按照产品 12M 上定义的频率进行设置,将Amplitude 振幅设置为 -20dBm ,将功率计的频率设置为要测试的频率,记录此时功率计的读数,重复此校准步骤在别的频率下,这些数据可以作为路径衰减的参考。1.1.1 Tx Path Loss Calibration 发射路径衰减校准Refer to diagram below, remove the co
24、nnector from the shield box and connect it directly to E4438C.E4438C 上。以下是发射路径校准的连接图,将屏蔽箱的连接器拿掉并将它直接连接到10 MHz Refer eibce h4>mE4433CAgilent hl 010AV ect or SignaP Analyze rThe modulation of the signal generator E4438c should still remain as off. Press <RF On/Off>to turn on the RF. Set the f
25、requency to the Tx test frequency. Set the amplitude to -20 dBm. On the power meter E4418B, set the measure frequency to the same test frequency. Record the reading on the power meter. Repeat the measurement for the rest of the test frequencies. Compare the measured data to the reference data measur
26、ed in 6.5.1. The Tx path loss equals to the difference between the measured data and the measured reference data in 6.5.1. The Tx path loss will be used in the Tx power measurement.E4438C上的调制功能始终保持关闭状态,点击RF按钮开启射频输出,将频率设置为手机的发射频率,将振幅设置为-20dBm ,同样的将功率计的频率设置为手机发射频率,记录功率计的读数,重复 此校准在其他频率下。比较此时的衰减值与之前6.5.

29、generator E4438c should still remain as off. Press <RF On/Off>to turn on the RF. Set the frequency to the Rx test frequency. Set the amplitude to -20 dBm. On the power meter E4418B, set the measure frequency to the same test frequency. Record the reading on the power meter. Repeat the measurem
30、ent for the rest of the test frequencies. Compare the measured data to the reference data measured in 5.3.1. The Rx path loss equals to the difference between the measured data and the measured reference data in 5.3.1. The Rx path loss will be used in the Rx sensitivity measurement.E4438C上的调制功能始终保持关

32、ation sample with parametric data measured previously and run through the parametric testing. Compare the results with previous measured data. The transmit power correlation should be within +-0.2 dBm. The receive BER correlatation should be within +-0.5 BER. Adjust the RX and Tx path loss if necess
33、ary. Should the correlation fails, inform the maintenance engineering to troubleshoot the test station.将之前做对机测试的好品数据拿到并将这个手机放入现在的参数测试系统中运行,比较两次的测 量结果的差异。发射功率的误差应该在+-0.2dBm之间,接收误码率应该在+-0.5倍测量到的误码率。如果需要可以调整接收和发送的路径衰减值。如果对机测试失败请联系维护工程师进行测试站检查。5.10 Set up the HyperTerminalRun the HyperTerminal on the wi
34、ndow PC. Give a name to the connection and click <OK>.打开超级终端并运行AtUdWMIn the next screen, select COM 1 for the Connect using and click OK.选才i COM1端口In the next screen, select 19200 for Bits per second and None for Flow control and click OK.将比特率设置为19200,LWuuffMWiMb 闻总In the next screen, press th
35、e phone disconnect icon to disconnect since the radio under test is not connected to the serial to the USB 丫 cable. To connect, press the phone connect icon.断开连接后再重新拨号连接。Press to connectPress to disconnect5.11 Parametric testEnsure the unit has a test SIM card. Place the dummy battery pack on the un
36、it. Set the powersupply 66319B output voltage to 4.1 volt by press voltage and key in 4.1 and press volt. Turn on the radio under test. Manually place the radio under test to Berbug mode if necessary by pressing“#*#654#*#" , and then press Remove the antenna grommet on the phone. Position the r
37、adio under test in the RF enclosure and insert both the RF probe and the serial to USB 丫 cable. Close the RF enclosure.确保待测手机已经安装好Sim卡,将虚拟电池放入待测手机。将 66319B的电压设置为4.1V。打开手机,输入“ #*#654#*# "点击OK,进入Berbug模式并去掉手机天线的后盖,将 RF天线连接到此处 并将手机数据线连接到电脑和手机之间。关闭屏蔽箱。Connect the HyperTerminal to the radio under te
38、st by pressing the phone connect icon. Press <Enter> on the PC keyboard a few times to get the Berbug returns from the radio under test to confirm the connection. Send the following Berbug command to the radio under test.连接超级终端LOG ERASE (This is to clear the iDEN reset log.)输入LOG ERASE命令擦除手机日志
39、文件5.12.1 Standby CurrentMOD IDL (Set the radio under test to idle mode)输入MOD IDL命令将手机转入待机模式LED ALL OFF (Turn off all the LEDs)输入LED ALL OFF命令关闭手机所有LED灯Read the current on the power supply. This shall be the standby current. Record down the reading.读取此时的66319B的电流,记录此时的待机电流5.12.2 Dispatch TestOn the E
40、4438C, set the followings:Frequency > 859.45 MHz, RF on, Modulation on, ARB > select 16QAM and play, Amplitude, > equivalent of -111 dBm taking the Rx path loss into consideration. For temperature extreme environment., the amplitude needs to be 3 dB higher.在E4438C上将频率设置为 859.45MHz,打开RF输出和调制
41、功能,自定义波形为16QAM。振幅的设置要将-111dBm的固定值和路径衰减值加在一起。在高低温测试中,-111dBm固定值需要改变为- 108dBm 。On the Hyperterminal, send the following Berbug commands打开超级终端输入以下Berbug 命令SPE INT (This select the internal speaker to output the audio)输入SPE INT 命令将内部喇叭打开VOL SPE 240 (This sets the speaker volume to 240)输入VOL SPE 240命令将音量
42、大小调整到240ALE STA 255 (This plays the alert tone selection 255 to the speaker)输入ALE STA 255命令通过喇叭播放报警音RX FREQ 859.45 (This sets the receive frequency at 859.45 MHz)输入RX FREQ 859.45 命令将手机接收频率设定为 859.45MHzMOD RX (This configures the radio under test to receive mode)输入MOD RX 命令将手机启动到接收模式GO 16 (Begin disp
43、laying frame measurements according to DISPLAY settings. 16 frame measurements will be taken and results output to screen continuously until ESC key is pressed.)输入 GO 16 命令开始显示结果,点击ESC 键可取消输出结果功能。On the power supply 66319B, read the current. This shall be the dispatch current at 859.45 MHz.在电源上将读数记录
44、在 859.45MHz 这个频率对应的电流值上On the Hyperterminal, send the following Berbug commands to stop the test.输入以下 Berbug 命令停止测试。ALE STO 255 (This stops playing the alert tone selection 255 to the speaker)输入 ALE STO 255 命令将报警音关掉SPE OFF (This turns off the speaker selection)输入SPE OFF 命令关闭喇叭功能MOD IDL (This configu
45、res the radio under test to idle mode)输入MOD IDL 命令将手机转入待机模式。Repeat the test for the other frequency (937.49375 MHz) by changing the frequency and amplitude accordingly.重复此测试在 937.49375MHz 这个频率上并记录。5.12.3 Rx BER TestOn the E4438C, set the followings:Frequency > 859.45 MHz, RF on, Modulation on, AR
46、B > select 16QAM and play, Amplitude, > equivalent of -111 dBm taking the Rx path loss into consideration. For temperature extreme environment., the amplitude needs to be 3 dB higher.在 E4438C 上将频率设置为 859.45MHz ,打开 RF 输出和调制功能,自定义波形为 16QAM 。振幅的设置要将-111dBm 的固定值和路径衰减值加在一起。在高低温测试中, -111dBm 固定值需要改变为

51、 frequency at 813.5125 MHz)输入TX FREQ 813.5125 命令将手机发射频率设置为 813.5125MHzTX PSEUDO (This sets the Tx single slot QAM with Pseudo Ramp)输入TX PSEUDO 命令TRAIN 200000 (This sets the number of frames of TX slots using Pseudo Ramp to 200000 before a full training slot occurs)输入TRAIN 200000 命令MOD TX (This confi

55、命令MOD TX (This configures the radio under test to transmit mode)输入MOD TX 命令将手机转入发射模式On the N9010A Vector analyzer, Set the center frequency to 813.5125 MHz. by pressingFREQ,Channel, Center Freq, 813.5125, MHz . Set the reference level to 10 dBm by pressing AMPTD Y Scale, 10, dBm . Set the frequency
56、span to 200kHz by pressingSPAN, 200, kHz . Set the resolutionbandwidth (RBW) to 30 kHz by pressing BW, Res BW, 30, kHz. The transmit signal from the unitshould be viewable from the display. To read the frequency of the signal, press Peak Search. Read the signal frequency from the display. This shall
57、 be the Tx frequency at 813.5125 MHz. Frequency error equals measured frequency minus 813.5125 MHz. Express the result in kHz. Record the result.在 9010A 分析仪上通过依次点击FREQ, CHANNEL, CENTER FREQ 三个按钮将中心频率设定为 813.5125MHz ,通过 AMPTD Y SCALE 按钮将振幅设置为 10 dBm ,通过 SPAN 按钮将频率范围设定为 200KHz ,通过依次点击 BW, RES BW 两个按键将带宽解析度设定为 30KHz ,此时发射信号将在屏幕中央显示出来,点击PEAK SEARCH 按键将 MKR 标记显示出来,并且将MKR 上面的读数减去之前设定的中心频率值就会得
