Analysis of the teaching material:This course is the second period of Unit 6 Grade 7 , PEP New Target. Unit 6 is focused on talki ng about likes and disli

2、kes. The teachi ng syllabus says Ian guage is for com muni cati on, the stude nts should develop their liste ning, speak in g, read ing and writing skills. The students should be able to ue like and don ' t/ doesnafter t like learning this unit. They are close to our daily life, students must ha

3、ve great interest to tell many things. And they also need to learn Yes/No questions and short answers. The students will meet many new words about food, fruit and vegetables in this unit, they n eed to divide the nouns into Coun table or Uncoun table nouns. On page 31 the students learnto ask and an

4、swer questions Do you like? Yes, I do. /No, I don' t. InPeriod 2, they will go on using these expressions. They will meet some questions beg in with Does, and they n eed to an swer the questio ns with Yes, she/he does. /No, she/he doesn ' t. They need to pay more attentionstoVfes and the use

5、 of do/does.2. Analysis of the students:The stude nts have lear ned En glish for about at least 4 years so far, so they can un dersta nd some words and some simple senten ces. They have great in terest in English and like to express themselves in front of class. But the students are lacking of liste

6、ning skills. They need help to form their own proper learning habits, for example, they should get used to reading the listening material before they listen to the tape.Lear ning methods:The students need to form theiown proper learning habits with teacher' s help.3 Teach ing aims and dema nds :

In order to express their likes and dislikes, the students need to remember more words about food, fruit and vegetables, such a, burger/hamburger, vegetable, dinner,fruit, food, apple. On Page 32 they also n eed to lear n to use birthday, week, think about, sure, right, the

8、n and How about?B. Target la nguage:-Do you like salad?-Yes, I do. /No, I don ' t.Let ' s think about Sounds good.Joh n likes hamburgers.I don ' t like salad.Let ' s have strawberries and apples then.C. Grammar:The stude nts should pay more atte nti on to V-s /V-es and the use of do/

9、does.2) Ability objects:The students can express their own likes and dislikes with like I don ' t like 3) Moral objects:The students need to know the importanee of caring about other people ikes and' s ldislikes;The students should know it ' s important to have a balaneed diet.4. A.Impor

10、ta nt point:The stude nts can express their own likes and dislikes.B. Difficult poi nt:The stude nts should know how to use V-s /V-es and do/does.5. Teach ing aids:The teachi ng syllabus says that it s n ecessaryfor teachers to use moder n teachi ng facilities. It's of great help to in crease th

11、e class den sity and improve our teach ing result. It can also make the stude nts reach a better un dersta nding of the text by making the classes lively and interesting. At the same time, it arouses the studenfsinterest in learning En glish.In this class we n eed to use the radio and PPT. There are

12、 several pictures in the PPT,at the beg inning of the class the stude nts look at the pictures. These pictures can remind the stude nts of many words about food, fruit and vegetables.6 Teaching procedures:Step 1 Warmin g-up1) Brain-stormingThe stude nts have lear ned many words about food, fruit and

13、 vegetables. The teachercan ask some questions to help them review the words:Do you like good food?Can you tell us some food you like?(apple, tomato, pear )Can you spell the word?Each stude nt can write a word on the blackboard.2) The stude nts read the words on the blackboard. The teacher help the

14、stude nts divide the words on the blackboard into three groups:Coun table nouns, Uncoun table nouns, Coun table &Uncoun table nounsStep 2 Prese ntati on & PracticeBefore liste n to the tape, the stude nts should read the words or senten ces, and they should also look at the pictures carefull

15、y that they have in the liste ning practice. The n the students can get some information that they will meet in the listening material. This is good liste ning habit. The teacher should help the stude nts form good lear ning habits.1) The students read the words in 2a, then listen to the tape and ci

16、rcle the food they hear. The teacher and the stude nts check the an swers together.2) The stude nts look at the pictures and talk about some food they can see in the pictures. Maybe these words they will hear in the listening part. Then the students listen to the tape again and fill in the blanks.t

19、read the expressi ons first, the n they look at the words they wroteon the blackboard.The teacher n eeds to give the stude nts some examples:I like apples. I don ' t like tomatoes.Then the stude nts try to express their own likes and dislikes with these structures.5) In troduct ion:I know a boy.

20、 His n ame is Joh n. His birthday is next week. So his frie nds are preparing for his birthday dinner. But they don ' t want John to know it. Maybe the teacher can show a picture of birthday cake to the stude nts.The teacher should write birthday and dinner on the blackboard and expla in the two

21、 words to the stude nts.The students read the dialoge in 2d. When they meet some new words they didn' tlearn ,maybe they can try to guess the meaning of new words accordi ng to the whole passage. If the word is not importa nt, escape it. If the stude nts can get the right meaning, give them prai

And the teacher can let the students introduce his/her way of guess ing words to the others.The teacher and the stude nts go on the new words On page 99 together.The stude nts liste n to the tape of 2d and read the dialogue together. The stude nts read the dialogue aga in. The teacher calls out
