( The Simple Past Tense.)1.一般过去时的概念:一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用。 (如:ago, yesterday, last week, last (year, ni ght, mon th ),in 1989, just now,)2.一般过去时动词的变化:(1) 、动词 be 的变化:am/iswasare were(2) 实义动词的变化:实义动词分规则变化和不规则变化。规则变化有以下几种:(1 )一般情况下在动词后加 -ed。e.g. play playedvisit visitedwalk wal

14、kedclea n clea ned(2)以不发音的 e 结尾的词,在词尾加-d。e.g. no te no ted like likeddan cedancedn ame n amed(3 )以一个元音加一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节结尾的单词,要先双写这个辅音字母,再加-ed。e.g. stop stoppeddropdroppedpla n pla nned(4)以辅音字母加 y 结尾的单词,先改 y 为 i,再加-ed。e.g. study studiedcarry carried不规则变化需要按一定的规律逐个记忆。(同学们可以找一个不规则动词表,利用空余时间自己把它记下来,这对以后的学
