This is

3、a lesson in Book 3. Its a reading material about western music. This lesson is very important in this book. The purpose of teaching is to make the students understand western music .Part 2: Students analysis It is about the Ss.Our students have learned something about Western music in Unit One. So I

4、 think they can understand the reading material and I think they will be interested in the reading material.Part 3 is the teaching aimsThe first one is the knowledge aims :To grasp the important words and expressions .To grasp the alternative question sentences.The second one is ability aims: To imp

5、rove ssability of reading skills. To write a composition about Xian Xinghai according to the information on P75The last one is the emotion aim:Get ss to enjoy life and enjoy classical music.Part 4 is the Key points and Difficult points.Key points: Master the new words and phrases. Difficult points:

6、To write a composition about Xian Xinghai Part 5: It talks about the Teaching Methods.In this lesson, my teaching methods include “Task-based teaching method, “Communicative teaching method . Besides, a computer, a blackboard and some small gifts are needed as the teaching aids.Part6: Teaching proce

Step 2 Pre-reading First, Ill check the new words and phrases .Then let the Ss listen to the passage. and Purpose :To help Ss rich the vocabulary and check their pronunciation in order to get ready for the next
