Based on the knowledge of restrictive clause students learned in their school, we aims to help students recognize and understand non-restrictive clause, and differentiate restrictive clause from non-restrictive clause.2. To enhance students awareness of protecting cult

Students may feel difficult to choose relative words.教学环节设计 40分钟设计活动和设计理由 Step 1 Lead-in (4分钟)【活动】Guessing game: using some sentences with attributive clauses to describe some cult
4、ural relics and let students guess.【理由】1. This game can recall students of attributive clauses and their usage in a short time.2. This game can broaden students horizon, to make them know more about cultural relics.【教师语言】1. Good afternoon, class. When talking about cultural relics, what objects come
5、 into your mind? 2. Now lets look at some description of some cultural relics and please guess what they are.3. We are going to learn more about attributive clause in this class. Step 2 Pre-learning (5分钟)【活动】1. Pick out the sentences with attributive clause in the lead-in part and review the meaning
6、, form, function of restrictive attributive clause; and sum up the usage of relative pronouns and relative adverbs.2. Do some exercises about restrictive attributive clause.【理由】To review the restrictive attributive clause and check out students weak points. It makes the teacher clear about the focus
7、 of following exercises, which helps improve the efficiency of exercises.【教师语言】1. Now lets review what we learned about restrictive attributive clause.2. In this sentence, what does “who” refer to? etc.Step 3 While-learning (17分钟)【活动】1. Show some sentences with non-restrictive attributive claus
8、es about the cartoon Doraemon and ask students to find out something different with restrictive attributive clauses in these sentences. I will use these sentences to introduce the form of non-restrictive attributive clause.2. Ask students to compare the meaning of there groups of
9、;sentence (one sentence with non-restrictive attributive, the other with restrictive attributive), and guide them to sum up the function of non-restrictive attributive clause.3. Exercises: sentence correction.4. Introduce the error-prone point w
10、hen using the non-restrictive attributive clause and do some exercises.【理由】1. Use the cartoon Doraemon to arouse students curiosity and interest about non- restrictive attributive clause.2. By comparing the function of non-restrictive attributive and restrictive attributive
