4、幸阐望杏匠忱曼汪Chapter 3 English Newspaper教学案例 深圳碧波中学 秦雅莉教学理念英语新课程改革的重点就是要改变英语课程过分重视语法和词汇知识的讲解与传授、忽视对学生实际语言运用能力的培养的倾向,强调课程从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认识水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径, 发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度,主动思维和大胆实践,提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程。新课程标准要求以“学生为主体”的课堂教学模式,教师的角色应该从“演员”转变为“节目主持人”,把舞台还给学生,由学生当演员,唱主角,充
5、分体现学生的主体地位,让学生充分发挥主体作用,提高课堂效率。在这次公开课中我将新的课程理念渗透到我的教学环节中来。下面是我对Chapter 3 English Newspaper 的教学设计,对如何将英语新课程标准的理念融入课堂教学作如下探讨:教材分析本课来源于深圳牛津版八年级上chapter 3.的内容。在来源于书本,结合学生的特点,我将教材的内容进行了开发与整合。在完成原课文要求掌握的词汇外,我还增加了关于报纸的Title /headline /photograph /caption等词汇。同时还添加了许多来自于生活的时事新闻(如17大的召开、朱丽叶罗伯茨,奥运会的召开,深圳高交会的举行)
6、让学生来通过标题,图片与字幕来判断属于哪个板块,所提供的素材能让学生开口表达自己喜爱的板块。为了衔接下文,我增设了关于报纸工作人员的词汇Editor /chief editor /report /photographer /designer 。通过学生讨论,谁想成为我们校报的主编?我选出主编后,再将学生分成6个组,每组成员分工不同,他们分别担任Editor /chief editor /report /photographer /designer 。在规定的时间内,将自己预先准备好的材料粘贴在一张大卡纸上。每组的主编将最后对自己的报纸做简单的说明并号召他人浏览。本节课的话题学生特别感兴趣,内容
7、新颖,富于时代感,能引起学生的共鸣。学生们即动口有动手,收获很大。教学设计教学思路:l 我在设计教案时,考虑到要把英语课程标准强调从运用语言的任务入手进行教学,让学生为了完成一项真实的任务进行学习,并要求学生要最终完成这些任务。l 结合牛津版英语教材的特点,牛津初中英语教材和教学的结构模式比照人教版的教材,牛津初中英语按照“话题(topic)-功能(function)-结构(structure)-任务(task)”相结合的思路编排,以话题为主线,任务为主导,辅以功能和结构项目,有效培养学生综合运用英语的能力。所以在设计了Famous nwespaperHow to read newspaper
8、-Whats your favourite sections ?-Make your own newspaperl 在设计本节教案时,我考虑从12班学生的年龄特点和心理特点出发, 他们英语基础较好,口语表达能力不错,课上能积极参与。还有些活跃分子很喜欢表现自己。所以设计的每一教学步骤以学生为中心的教学模式,为学生提供自然、有意义的语言背景,学生在这种背景下练习使用语言。使学生通过运用语言理解语言的结构和功能,学生自己发现语言规律,教师只是学生学习的促进者和指导者。在教学过程设计中创设真实、有交际性和有意义的语境, 和组织学生两人一组和六人小组活动并提供真实的范例,将听说读写四种技能的发展和提高
9、有机地结合在一起。 教学手段 采用“任务型”的教学途径,在教学过程中,借助多媒体,增加趣味性和直观性,增大课堂容量,提高课堂效率,注重创设语境,采用启发式教学方式。课件中有些选才来自自真实的生活 ,提高学生的兴趣和参与教学活动的积极性.我事先要求学生收集整理国外著名的报刊,收集自己最感兴趣的板块。为上课谈论如何区别不同的板块与谈论自己喜爱的板块做准备。同时为了做好个性化的英文报纸做铺垫。任务一:小组先合作找好英美著名报刊并了解其汉语名称。并在竞技抢答中得分。任务二:小组同学通过所学如何快速获取报纸大意,对一组新闻如17大的召开、朱丽叶罗伯茨,奥运会的召开,深圳高交会的举行)进行判断属于哪个版块
10、。任务三:将学生分成6个组,每组成员分工不同,他们分别担任Editor /chief editor /report /photographer /designer。在规定的时间内,将自己预先准备好的材料粘贴在一张大卡纸上。每组的主编将最后对自己的报纸做简单的说明并号召他人浏览。教学目标知识目标:是通过谈论英美著名英文报纸入手吸引学生的兴趣,如何快速获取英文报纸的信息介绍新单词Title /headline /photograph /caption等。能力目标:是能通过学生对所学的词汇来判断一组新闻属于哪个版块。(Which section is it ?鼓励学生谈论自己喜欢的SECTION :
11、Which is your favourite section ?教育学生在小组活动中make your own newspaper 积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,敢于用英语表达自己的观点看法,乐于去完成各项实践活动。教学重点l 了解英美著名报纸。l 能学会如何从Title /headline /photograph /caption来判断属于何板块。l 能积极与他人合作,参与制作个性化的英文报纸。教学难点能就Which section is it ?Which is your favourite section ? Would you like to be a chief editor

To losersFailure is the mother of success.Step7 Assignment : What is the advantage of reading English newspaper ?教学后记:本节课是一节大型的公开课,我认真钻研教材,精心设计教学环节。充分利用这个学生感兴趣的话题,采用竞赛的方式贯穿整个课堂。 激发了学生的学习热情。课堂上我通过不同的媒体进行教学,始终面带笑容,用高昂的情绪去感染学生,充分调动学生的积极性;对于学生的发言,我都及时给予鼓励表扬,回答不够好的,继续让其他同学发言和评价,在比较中优选好的答案,以达成目标。本堂课的师生活动营造了活跃、和谐的学习氛围,使学生在轻松、愉快的状态下获得了知识,提高了能力。同时我创设合适的语言情境,让学生通过对谈论自己喜欢的报纸板块与表达自己在小组活动中的角色锻炼了学生语言运用能力,从而达到了在用中学,学中用的目的;并让学生展示他们完成任务的成果,给予激励性评价,培养了学生参与、合作、探究的
