2、andprinciple,hardwareselectionandsoftwaredesign,etc.ThecirculatingpumpsandreplenishingpumpsinthesystemcanallbedrivenautomaticallybyPLCandinverter.Mainprocessparameters,suchassteampressureandmeasurementtemperatureandsoon,canallbeshownontheindustrialPCrunningconfigurationsoftware,andinstructionscouldb
3、esentbytheengineerandoperatoron-the-spotviatheHumanMachineInterfaceaswell.TheautomaticpressuresadjustmentofsteamsupplyoftheheaterbyadvancedPIDalgorithmhasbeenrealizedfinally.Itisverifiedthatthesystemishighlyreliableandstable,anditgreatlyenhancesthelevelofautomationandpressurecontrolaccuracyoftheheat
4、exchangestationandmeetsalltheequipmentsrunningdemandswell.IntroductionWiththerapiddevelopmentofeconomyandsociety,heatsupplysystemsarethekeypowersourceinthecommunitiesandplantsinChina.Asamediabetweenheatsourcesandheatloadsinthesystems,aheatexchangestationsplaysaveryimportantrolefortheheatsupplyqualit
5、y.Traditionally,mostofthepumpsintheheatsupplysystemsareoperatedbyvalvesmanually,soitcouldbringaboutthepowerenergyconsuming,highlaborintensityandlowoperationautomation.InthispaperadesignofcontrolsystemforheatexchangestationbasedonPLC,inverterandindustrialconfigurationsoftwarewasproposed,accordinglyth
6、eaimforpowerenergysaving,highheatefficiencyandoperationautomationhasbeenachieved.ProcessoutlineandControldemandsProcessoutline.Theprocessoutlineandcontroldemandswereputforwardatfirstbeforetheschemeanddesignofheatexchangestationcontrolsystemwereproposed.Heatexchangestationconsistsofasteam-drivenheate
7、r,plus3circulatingpumps,2replenishingpumpsandelectriccontrolvalve.Byadjustingthesteamfluxintothemixtureofwaterandsteamaccordingtothetemperaturesensorsmountedindoorsandoutdoors,theprocessofheatexchangecouldbecompleted.Amongtheseequipments,thesteam-drivenheater,aheatexchangercontainingmixtureofsteam-a
8、nd-water,isthekeyapplianceforheatsupplysystem.Controldemands.Majorcontroldemandsforthecontrolsystemwerelistedsfollows1:(a)Pumpsdriving.inoperation,replenishingpumps(1Pumpsinclude1forbackup)inoperation,1for3circulatingpumpsand2backup).Amongcirculating(2onesfrequency,with75KWpowereaotherisdrivenbyvari
9、ablefromthepressuredifferenceoneisdrivenbypowerfrequency,theothersaredrivenbyvariablech;amongreplenishingonesoneisdrivenbypowerfrequency,thefrequency,with3KWpowereach.Thecontrolsignalshouldbeoriginatedbetweenthesupplywaterspeedandreturnwater.Pumpscouldbedriveninsteplessregulatingwhenconnectingvariab

12、xchangestationandmainprocessparametercanbeshowninHMI,andinstructionscanbetransmittedviathisinterface;(f) SafeguardFunction.Thecirculatingpumpsshouldbeoutofrunningwhenheatexchangesystemisinwaterneeding,andsteamshouldbekeptoutoftheheaterwhenthepumpsarenotrevolving.HardwareSelectionoftheControlSystemFr
13、omthecontroldemandsmentionedabove,thecontrollerofthecontrolsystemcanprocesssignalsbothrelayandanalog,havingtheabilityofloopadjustmentofanalogquantity.Atthemeantimethepumpscouldrunintheworkingconditionofvariablefrequency,sothehardwareselectionofthecontrolsystemforheatexchangestationshouldbemadedelibe
14、rately.PLCServingasMainController.Assomeexperiencedelectricalengineersknown,PLC/PC(ProgramController)isakindofpopularindustrialcomputer,anditcannotonlyaccomplishlogiccontrol,butalsocompletemanyadvancedfunctions,suchasanalogquantityloopadjustment,andmotioncontrol,etc.Accordingtothecomponentamountsofi
15、nputandoutputandtheneedsofcontrolsystem,FX1N-60MRmicroPLCofMITSUBISHIFXseriesisselected,whichhaving36inputsand24outputs,anddoinganalogadjustmentbyusingadvancedinstructionlikePIDinstruction2.Becauseofthesamplinganddrivingoftheanalogsignalnecessarily,PLCshouldbeextendedtoanaloginput/outputfunctionmodu
16、lelikeFX2N-4AD(4AD)andFX2N-4DA(4DA)orsomethinglike.Ononehand,4ADadoptedisananaloginputmodulehaving4channelswith12bithighresolution,whichcouldreceive0+10Vvoltagesignal,020mAor420mAcurrentsignal.Ontheotherhand,4DAchosencouldsendstandardvoltagesignaland/orcurrentsignal,having4channelswith12bithighresol
17、utionalso.Itissomethingtobementionedhere,thewiringformofcurrentinput/output(420mA)mustbeadoptedinordertoavoidingthestrongelectromagnetismdisturbanceintheworkingfield3.InvertercompletingSteplessSpeedRegulating.Atpresent,inverter,asanimportpowerelectronicconverter,canconvertconstantlypowerfrequencyint
18、ocontinuallyvariablefrequency.Thus,energysaving,costconsumingandnoisereductioncanbeeasilyreachedbythisequipment.InthiscontrolsysteminverterofACS510seriesofABBCorporationwereelaboratelychosen,whichhasmanyadvantages,suchasDirectTorqueControl(DTC)andadvancedapplyingmacroandsoon.Itsmaingoodpointsandchar
19、acteristicsareillustratedasfollows:itcanacquiremaximumstartingtorque(200%normaltorque)byusingdirectexcitation;itcanbeappliedtomultipledrivingsystemsbyusingmaster-slavefunction;inputandoutputprogrammablefunction;highprecisionofspeedregulating,perfectsafeguardandalarmingsteps.Owingtothesehighlightsoft
20、hisinverter,pumpsdrivingofsteplessspeedregulatingcanbeeasilyobtained.TherearemanyapplyingmacroinACS510series,butweshouldonlychoosemanual/automaticmacrohereasweneed.IPCActingasMonitorControlInterface.IPC(IndustrialPersonalComputer)hasstrongcompatibility,extensibilityandreliability,whichcanconnectPLCb
21、yRS-232serialportconveniently.InthehardwareconfigurationweselectIPCH610seriesofADVANTECHbsHMI.MCGS(MonitorControlGeneratedSystem),fashionablehome-madindustrialconfigurationsoftware,isrunningontheADVANTECHIPC.UsingthisHMI,thevisualizationprocessofMonitorandControlisrealizedeasily,intuitivelyandvividl
