3、efore you can configure the HALB from the Parallels RAS console, you first have to import an appliance with any one of the following Hypervisor platforms: Virtual Box VMware. For Virtual Box or VMware, this appliance should be imported with either the OVA or zipped VMDK appliance file obtained from

4、the Parallels Website.OVA files are automatically configured, whilst VMDK are not. The minimum specifications for this VMDK are;1 CPU. 256MB RAM.1 Network Card.HALB InstallationTo configure and install HALB, follow the below steps.Download the required HALB package from out website.Then simply impor

5、t the file from the virtualization platforms management console. Power up (boot) the new appliance.If necessary, change the network settings. The configuration console is shown and HALB appliance is ready to be added to the Parallels Remote Application server console. Adding an HALB Appliances to RA

6、SOnce the HALB appliance has been installed and configured, the next step would is to add the HALB appliance to Parallels Remote Application Server console. Follow the below steps to do so;Open the HALB section.Enable HALBSelect the IP Version and enter the IP Address of the server.Enter the subnet maskEnable LB Gateway Payload and Configure. For load balancing SSL connections, enable LB SSL Payload and configure accordingly.Once completed, switch the tab to Devices and click on the + sign. Parallels Remote Application Server will automatically detect HALB appliances on the network.
