But the lack of analytical capabilities may result in difficulties to infer potential implications as well as to conclude their f

3、inding.教学思路According to the New English Curriculum Standard , Grade 11 students ought to use different reading strategies to analyse articles, accumulate the vocabulary through reading and consider problems with critical and creative thinking.To achieve these goals, the educators can use tasks-based

4、 teaching method to train their reading abilities.This lesson adapts the PWP teaching pattern. The theme of this lesson is healthy habits, so an interesting lead-in topic can arouse their interests.After leading in, the class will follow the top-down processing method to practice the reading skills

5、and analyse the content.After the class, they should apply what they learned in the passage to daily life.Teaching aimsBy the end of the lesson, students are expected toComprehend how habits to be formed and how to change bad habits;Master the structure of the passage and enhance the reading skill o

Make Ss skim the passage (especially pay attention to the title and graph of the text) and then ask them to identify text type. Lead Ss to find out the characteristics of the illustrating logic in
