Objectclause宾语从句TheObjectClause什么叫宾语从句:宾语从句起名词的作用,在复合句中作及物动词,介词或某些形容词(如:sure,happy,glad等)之后的宾语.1、由动词+that引导的宾语从句,在口语中that常常可以省略常见的动词:
hope,think,hear,see,know,suppose,believe,
expect,feel,find,guess,promise,learne.g.Ithink(that)youwilllikethestamps.Idon’tthink(that)youareright.2、动词+间接宾语+从句常见的动词:tell,inform,explain,remind,warne.g.Heexplainedtousthathedidn’tmeananyharmtous.Sheremindedusthatthelastbuswouldbeat11:30.3.动词+形式宾语it+adj./n.+that从句Wehavemadeitclearthatourstudentsmustobeytherulesoftheschool.Hetookitforgrantedthat
theexpenseswouldbelow.Wethinkitourdutytokeeptheclassroomcleaneveryday.II4.人称主语+形容词+从句e.g.IamafraidthatIcannothelpyou.Iamsurethathewillcome.Theyaregladthatyouhavepassedtheexamination.IamcertainthatIwillfinishtheworkintime.
这类从句语法家说法不一,有人认为是宾语从句,又有人认为是状语从句。5、有连接代词Who,what,how,which,和连接副词why,where,when,how引导的宾语从句。1)Icannottellyouwhoisintheclassroom.2)Icannotimaginewhatmadeyougetsoangry.3)Idon’tknowwhyhehasn’tcomeyet.4)Whocantellmewherehelives?6、介词+从句1)Itisagoodhatexceptthatitdoesn’tfitme.2)Thesereportsraisethequestionofwhethercertainnationalitiesarenaturallymorecourteousthanothers.Conclusion:1、宾语从句的连接词that只起连接作用,没有意义,可以省略。但是两个以上宾语从句并列时,从第二个宾语从句起,that不能省略。e.g.Hetoldmethathewouldcometoseemeandthat
hewouldstaywithusforseveraldays.2、Whether/if
连词引导的宾语从句,连接词只起连接作用,不充当句中成分。e.g.Sheaskedmeif/whetherIwouldreturnthebookintime.Idoubtif/whetherwewillsucceed.Cf.Itdependsonwhetherhelikesthejobornot.3、一般的宾语从句都用陈述语序。e.g.Ididn’tknowthathewasathief.Doyouknowwherehehasgone?4、以下句型作宾语从句时语序不变。
