Abstract:Withthedevelopmentofscienceandtechnology,higherrequirementshavebeenputforwardforopticalmaterials.Akindofmaterialwithhighphotonselectivityhasarousedwideattention.Inthispaper,thedevelopmentofsilver-basedspectralselectivecoatingsisintroduced,mainlyincludingitspreparationmethods,properties,andapplications.Firstly,thebasicprincipleandstructureofsilver-basedspectralselectivecoatingsareelaborated.Then,thepreparationmethodsofcoatingsaredescribedindetail,andanewpreparationplanisproposedtosolvethebottleneckproblemsinthecurrenttechnology.Furthermore,theopticalpropertiesandstabilityofthecoatingsaretested,showingthatthecoatingshavegoodreflectivityandselectivityaswellashighstability.Finally,theprospectsandvaluesoftheapplicationofsilver-basedspectralselectivecoatingsarediscussed.

Thepropertiesofthecoatings,includingtheopticalpropertiesandstability,arealsoevaluated.Theresultsindicatethatthecoatingshavegoodreflectivityandselectivityinthevisiblerange,andthepeakreflectancecanreachover95%.Besides,thecoatingsexhibithighstabilityundervariousconditions,suchashightemperature,humidity,andultravioletradiation.Thisindicatesthatthesilver-basedspectralselectivecoatingshavegreatpotentialforpracticalapplicationsinsolarthermalcollectors,opticalfilters,andopticalcommunication.
