ThefiltersandinsulationmaterialsofMAUandothersshouldbeatleastratedatUL900Class2.FM7-BytheofRiskO10.EmergencymanualcontrolswitchesforboththemakeupandrecirculatingairfansshouldbeinstalledoutsidetheentranceareatothecleanFM7-BytheofRiskControlandO11.Atleastoneredundantfanofeachtypeshouldbeinstalledforthevariousairsystems(n+1).Thisincludesbuildingmake-upair,VLF(verticallaminarflow)fans,andthevariousexhaustsystems(scrubbedexhaust,generalexhaust,exhaust,andcalamityFM7-BytheofRiskControlandO12.TheairhandlingsystemshouldbeconnectedtoanemergencypowersourcethroughanautomatictransferswitchandarrangedtokeepthefabunderpositivepressureintheeventofalossofutilityFM7-BytheofRiskControlandO13.TheelectricalfeedtotheVLFfansshouldoriginatefromatleasttwosources:abouthalffromoneutilityfeeder,andtheotherfromthesecondutilityfeeder.ItisalsopreferabletosupplyadjacentfansfromalternatefeedersandMCCs(motorcontrolcenters)soifoneutilitysourcewerelostoroneMCCweretofail,airflowcouldmaintainedtoallairzonesoftheFM7-BytheofRiskControlandOB.FumeExhaustandGeneralHAVCPurpose Ductsshouldbeconstructedofmetalorotherbustiblematerial,andbeofstrengthandrigiditytomeetserviceconditionsandinstallationrequirements.DuctsmaterialSolventandgeneralexhaust: materialwithcoatingissuitableforanti-corrosiveFl bustiblematerialwithcoatingissuitableforanti-corrosive.FM7-BytheofRiskO Thehook-upbranchductmaterialsneartheprocesstoolsshallmeetabovecriteria.FM7-BytheofRiskO FactoryMutualResearchApprovedductsshouldnotbeusedforliquidremoval.FM7-BytheofRiskControlandO8.Lowpointcondensatedrainsshouldbeprovidedwherecondensemayaccumulateinductsusedforfumeexhaust.UTrap為PVC製,置於RAPFM7-BytheofRiskControlandO9.AllFactoryMutualResearchApprovedductsshouldhavejointsfabricatedinaccordancewithmanufacturer’sspecifications.FM7-O10.Retainingstrapsshallbeprovidedforallductsystemsthatarehangedbelowthesteelstructure.BytheofRiskControlandO11.TheexteriorsurfaceofFactoryMutualResearchApprovedductsshouldnotbepaintedorcoatedunlessexplicitlyindicatedintheFactoryMutualResearchApprovallisting.FM7-O12.Thefumeexhaustsystemshouldhaveanemergencysourceofpowerdesignedinaccordancewiththeapplicableelectricalcode.Theemergencypowershouldoperatetheexhaustsystematnotlessthan50percentofitsnormal100%EPS供應SolventExhaustSystem,50%EPS供應其他FumeExhaustSystemFM7-BytheofRiskControlandO13.Fansshouldbe bustibleFM7-BytheofRiskControlandO14.Whentheductwidthordiameterisgreater1.2m,provideanadditionallineofautomaticsprinklersbeneaththeduct.BytheofRiskLocalandO15.Whereheavier-than-airvaporsormixturesarehandled,intakeopeningsshouldbelocatednearfloorlevel.Thetopoftheopeningsshouldbelocatedwithinthe30cmformthegroundConversely,forgaseslighterthanair,intakeopeningsshouldbelocatedneartheFM7-BytheofRiskControlandO16.Whenaductpassesthroughazoneoflowertemperature,condensationofvaporswithinmayoccur.Iftheseareflble,afirehazardexists.Alllowpointswherethecondensatemayhappenoftheexhaustfromprocesstoolsshouldbeequippedwithdrainvalve.Ifthecondensateiscorrosive,itwillrapidlydeterioratetheotherequipmentintheductandpossiblytheductitself.Thustheenvironmentintheductsystemshouldbeheatedtoatemperatureabovethedewpointofthecorrosivemediumand/ortheductsystemshouldbeinsulatedtopreventcoolingofthecorrosivemediumtoitsdewFM7-BytheofRiskControlandOC.ElectronicDataProcessing1.Donotlocateairconditioningequipmentaboveanycomputerroomequipment.Airconditioningequipmentisafrequentsourceofliquidleakage;locatingitabovecriticalequipmentincreasestheexposuretothatequipment.FM5-BytheofRiskO2.Providedrainageinthemainfloorbeneatharaisedfloorifwaterorotherliquids(e.g.,fromwaterorglycolcoolinglines)cancollectonthemainFM5-BytheofRiskO3.Provisionofliquidsensingalarmsshouldbeconsideredforroomshousingcriticalsystemswhereliquidlinesofanysort(e.g.,coolingwater,sprinklerpi)runthroughthesubfloor,evenifadequatedrainageisprovided.Whereagaseousextinguishingsystemisprovidedtoprotectthespacebelowaraisedfloor,ensurethatdrainsdonotcompromisethegastightnessoftheprotectedvolume.Thiscanbe plishedbyprovidingplumbingtraps.FM5-BytheofRiskO4.Inconcealedspacessuchastheareasabovesuspendedceilingsorbelowraisedfloorsincomputerrooms,ductworkandinsulationonpipesandductworkshouldbe FM5-BytheofRiskO5.Provideanindependentairdistributionsystemforthecomputerareaseparatefromservicetootherareas.Thecomputerroomshouldbeatapositivepressurerelativetoadjacentareas.FM5-BytheofRiskO Anindependentairdistributionsystemshouldalsobeprovidedfortherecordstorageareaandsupportareas(i.e.,disk/tapedrives,I/OStations,municationsequipment),separatefromservicetotheremainderofthebuilding.Whereoneairdistributionsystemservicesmorethanoneofthesupportareasorrecordstoragerooms,smokecontrolsystemshouldbeFM5-BytheofRiskO Whereprovisionofanindependentsystemisnoteconomicallypractical,thefollowingshouldbeprovided,asapplicable:a、EveryinletductthatbringsairintothecomputerroomshouldbeprovidedwithasmokedetectorThefansupplyingairtothecomputerrooma
