Abstract:Objective

ToinvestigatetheoverexpressionofNET21Ki67andCD34andclinicopathological

significanceingastriccarcinoma.Methods

TheoverexpressionofNET21Ki67andCD34wasdetectedin

86casesofgastriccarcinomaparaffin2embededsectionsbyimmunohistochemicalmethod.Immunohisto2

chemicaltrimarkersdoublestainingmethodwasusedtodetectallpositivecaseswiththethreemarkers

andshowtheadjacentrelationshipandaccompanyingconditionsbetweenNET21Ki67andCD34onthe

oneslide.Allcaseswerefollowedupover60months.Results

TheoverexpressionratesofNET21,Ki67

andCD34ingastriccarcinomawere56.98%74.42%and62.79%,respectively.Therewassignificant

positivecorrelationbetweenthesethreemarkers(P<0.05).Theoverexpressionrateofthesemarkers

wereremarkablypositivecorrelatedwithtumorclinicalstages(P<0.05)andnegativelycorrelatedwith

tumorsurvivalrate(P<0.05)andmetastasis(P<0.05).Thesurvivalratewithin3and5yearswere

dramaticallyshorterintheoverexpressiongrouTPofthesethreemarkersthanthatinlowexpression

grouTPandthenegativegrouTP(P<0.05,P<0.01).TheoverexpressionofNET21andKi67were

negativelycorrelatedwithcarcinomadifferentiation(P<0.01).TheoverexpressionofNET21andCD34

waspositivelycorrelatedwithinfiltrationandlymphnodestatusoftumor(P<0.05),respectively.Con2

clusion

TheoverexpressionofNET21,Ki67andCD34proteinswasrelatedwiththeproliferation,an2

giogenesisandpoorprognosisingastriccarcinoma.
