many

other

fairy-tales,

the

outline

of

The

Little

Prince

was

not

very

complex.

“I”,

the

narrator

of

the

story,

was

a

pilot

whose

plane

had

something

wrong

and

landed

in

the

Sahara.

In

this

occasion,

the

pilot

made

the

acquaintance

of

the

little

prince,

a

little

boy

from

another

planet,

the

Asteroid

B612.

The

little

prince

had

escaped

from

his

tiny

planet,

because

he

had

some

quarrel

with

a

rose,

which

grew

on

his

planet.

In

that

case

he

left

his

own

planet

and

tookanexplorationatsomeneighborasteroids.On

his

all-alone

journey,

the

little

prince

met

different

kinds

of

people,

which

included

a

king,

a

conceited

man,

a

tippler,

a

businessman,

a

lamplighter

and

a

geographer.

From

these

people

he

got

a

conclusion

that

the

grown-ups

were

very

odd.

Following

the

instruction

of

the

geographer,

he

descent

in

the

Sahara,

on

the

earth.Traveling

on

the

earth,

the

little

prince,

who

saw

a

garden

of

five-thousand

roses,

overcame

with

astonishment

and

sadness,

as

he

considered

his

rose

was

unique

in

the

universe

before.

At

that

time

a

fox

appeared.

The

fox,

who

told

the

little

prince

about

the

meaning

of

the

word

“tame”,

became

his

new

friend.

At

the

time,

to

say

farewell,

the

fox

made

him

know

that

his

rose

was

unique

because

she

was

his

rose

and

tamed

by

him.

From

that

the

little

prince

began

to

treasure

friendship

and

was

responsible

to

his

rose.

At

the

anniversary

day

of

his

descent

of

the

earth,

rejecting

the

pilot’s

advice,

he

went

back

to

his

own

planet

by

bite

of

a

snake.

“It’s

too

far.

I

can

not

carry

this

body

with

me.

It’s

too

heavy.”

he

said.

He

tells

his

friend,

the

pilot,

he

must

be

responsible

for

his

rose,

so

he

had

to

go

back.

At

the

end

the

author

didn’t

tell

us

the

ending

directly.

Maybe

itwas

more

significant

for

us

to

imagine,

and

for

more,

think

over.One

of

the

important

characters

was

the

rose.

Growing

on

the

planet,

she

was

very

beautiful,

but

her

coquetry

and

vanity

suffered

the

little

prince

a

lot.

In

spite

of

their

love

each

other,

he

soon

became

unhappy.

On

the

time

of

his

departure,

he

just

knew

she

certainly

loved

him.

The

character

of

the

little

prince

actually

represented

the

children,

and

their

native

thinking

and

deeds.

On

the

contrary,

the

inhabitants

on

the

other

planets,

such

as

the

king,

the

businessman

and

the

conceited

man,

they

also

reflected

the

defects

in

the

grown-up’s

world.

The

real

theme

of

this

fairy-tale

with

a

little

sadness,

I

guess,

was

the

consequence

of

pure

love

and

friendship

in

our

lives,

but

not

others

“matters

of

consequence”

of

the

grown-ups.

Unbelievable,

this

little

book

moved

me

a

lot.I

seldom

thought

about

the

true

meaning

of

love

and

life

before.

Well,

now

I

can

say,

with

my

short

twenty-year’s

life

experience,

it’s

like

the

stars

in

the

sky

that

lights

my

heart.

The

little

prince

was

not

only

an

ordinary

fairy-tale

for

children,

but

also

for

grown-ups,

and

our

teenagers.

Nevertheless,

when

I

read

this

book,

I

felt

a

little

sad

–

about

ourselves,

who

are

losing

more

and

more

innocence.Theimageries’symbolsarethatoneimagefocusononephilosophy.conception,orarousecertainfeeling,thesymbolofsense.ThemeaningofTheLittlePrincealsoextremelyrich.Asfollows:⑴Theimageriessymbolsbyfigures.TheLittlePrincewasdividedintochildrenandgrown-up.thechildrenwasthelittleprince,thegrown-upwerepresentedwholivedindifferentplanet’sstrangepeopleandme.①TheLittlePrince:ThesymbolofchildhoodoriginalshapeTheLittlePrince,Whowasthemostelegantfiguresinwholearticle.waspresentedtheprimevalstateonhisbody.Hisvalueswereverydifferentfromcommoncustomsutilityinadultsworld.Hisvaluesfocusedonloveandpoetic.Andhadsharp-pointedsatiricallytogrown-ups."Iknowaplanetwherethereisacertainred-facedgentleman.Hehasneversmelledaflower.Hehasneverlookedanyone.Hehasneverdoneanythinginhislifebutaddupfigures.Andalldayhesaysoverandover,justlikeyou,Iambusywithmattersofconsequence.Andthatmakeshimswellupwithpride."Buthewasnotaman—hewasamushroom.’’①thearticlemainlynarratesthatthelittleprincetraveledintheplanet.Morerevealedthecomicalandabsurdofadult’sworld.ThevaluesofthelittleprincehadjustreflectedAntoinedeSain_Exupery’opinion,Inhisoptions,thelittleprinceoftenappreciatedlifebetterthanthegrown-up.hisinnocenceimageswasanhonestprimevallife.②Thesixofinhabitant:Thenumerousvisageofadultworld.Onhisjourney,thelittleprincemetdifferentkindsofpeople,whichwereincludesaking,aconceitedman,atippler,abusinessman,alamplighterandageographer,thesepeoplewerepresentedthetypicalportrayalofadult’sworld.Uptonow,stillofspecialimportance.Thefirstofthemwasinhabitedbyaking.Cladinroyalpurpleandermine,hewasseateduponathronewhichwasatthesametimebothsimpleandmajestic.Forwhatthekingfundamentallyinsisteduponwasthathisauthorityshouldberespected.Hetoleratednodisobedience.Hewasanabsolutemonarch.But,becausehewasaverygoodman,hemadehisordersreasonable."Onemuchrequirefromeachonethedutywhicheachonecan,acceptedauthorityrestsfirstofallonreason".Thekingwasthesymbolofpoliticpoweraffairs.Thesecondplanetwasinhabitedbyaconceitedman.,Foraconceitedmen,allothermenwereadmirers.Conceitedpeopleneverhearanythingbutpraise."Toadmiremeanthatyouregardmeasthehandsomest,thebest-dressed,therichest,andthemostintelligentmanonthisplanet."Thiswasaridiculousofvanity.Thenextplanetwasinhabitedbyatippler.Thiswasaveryshortvisit,butitplangthelittleprinceintodeepdejection."Whyareyoudrinking?","SothatImayforget",“Forgetwhat?”,“ForgetthatIamashamed,”.“Ashamedofwhat?”,“ashamedofdrinking!”Thiswasasymbolofabsurd.Thefourthplanetbelongedtoabusinessman.Thismanwassomuchoccupiedthathedidnotevenraisehisheadatthelittleprincearrival."“Threeandtwomakefive.Fiveandsevenmaketwelve."Ican’tstop...,Ihavesomuchtodo!Iamconcernedwithmattersofconsequence.Idon’tamusemyselfwithbalderdash.Twoandfivemakeseven...”"Whenyoufindadiamondthatbelongstonobody,itisyours.Whenyoudiscoveranislandthatbelongstonobody,itisyours.Whenyougetanideabeforeanyoneelse,youtakeoutapatentonit:itisyours.Sowithme."Onmattersofconsequence,thelittleprincehasideaswhichwereverydif-ferentfromthoseofthegrown-ups.Thiswasagreedyofhumanbeing.Thefifthplanetwasverystrange.Itwasthesmallestofall.Therewerejustenoughroomonitforastreetlampandalamplighter.Thelittleprincewasnotabletoreachanyexplanationoftheuseofastreetlampandalamplighter,somewhereintheheavens,onaplanetwhichhadnopeople,andnotonehouse.Buthesaidtohimself,nevertheless:"Itmaywellbethatthismanisabsurd.Butheisnotsoabsurdastheking,theconceitedman,thebusinessman,andthetippler.Foratleasthisworkhassomemeaning."Lamplighter,whowasbusyeachday,alwaysoverandoveragain,withoutdestination.Thiswasasymbolofblind.Thesixthplanetwastentimeslargerthanthelastone.Itwasinhabitedbyanoldgentlemanwhowrotevoluminousbooks."Ageographerisascholarwhoknowsthelocationofalltheseas,rivers,towns,mountains,anddeserts."buthewasfarawaytrue.Thiswasasymbolofdogma.Theadult’sworldwasstrangebythevisualangleofthelittleprince.Thewriterhadputtouseextremelyexaggerateandshowedthatthedistortedformoftheadult,werealsotheresultsofmodernsociety,Thereby;attackingthecertainvaluesofourlife.③Pilot:theportrayalofAntoinedeSain_Exupery.Pilotbelongedtotheadult’sworld.Heownedthethinkingofadults,buthestillrememberedthathewasachild.Pilotunderstoodlife.didn’tcarenumber,helovedflying,givinguputility,sohealwaysfeltverylonely.Withoutanyonethathecouldreallytalkedto.JustasAntoinedeSaint_Exupery.couldn’tsuitbetheworld.⑵.Theimageriessymbolsbyplants.Thewriterhaddescribedtherose,thebaobab,snake,fox,andsoon.Comparedwithothertheplantsoffairytales;thisimagehadmoreprofoundmeaningandphilosophyimplicationTherosewasthesymboloflove.Whichwaslustereye-catching,andenervated,self-willed.Itwaspresentedsomeofacrobaticstothelittleprince,itwasobviousthattheinitialfellinlove‘sbehavior.Thebaobabs,attheverymoment,whentheycoulddistinguishfromtherosebusheswhichtheyresembledsocloselyintheearliestyouth.Abaobabswassomethingyouwouldnever,neverbeabletogetridofifyouattendedtoittoolate,Itspreadedovertheentireplanet,Itboreclearthoughitwithitsroots.Andiftheplanetwastoosmall,andthebaobabsweretoomany,theyspliteditinpieces.Thebaobabswasasym
