CIMCOEditv4hasastandardWindowsuserinterface,havingoneormorechildwindowsforeveryopenfile.Youcancethechildwindowsandthetoolbarsasyouwish,butinsidethemainwindow.ThefunctionsinCIMCOEditv4canbeactivatedthroughthedropdownsorthroughthetoolbars.

Youcanundoandredo(almost)alloperationsyouhavedonesincethefilewasopened.Youcanfindthepositionofatoolchange,aspindlespeedchangeorfeedratechange,ordisytherangeoftheX/Y/Zaxes.

IfyouarenotsureiftwoCNC-programsareequal,theFileComparefunctionsofCIMCOEditv4helpsyoutopinpointthedifferences.TheFileCompareletsyouchoosetwofiles,andtheyareputintoatwo-framewindow.Thedifferencesareshownbycoloringtheline.Youcanstepthroughthefiles,stopateachdifference.

YoucancustomizethecolorsusedtodisycoordinatesandNCcom-mands,renumberblocknumbers,andadd/removespacestoincreasereadability,ordecreaseprogramsize/transmissiontime.

Youcanchooseifyouwantscrollbarsornot,andthespeedofthekeyboardcanbesetintheEditortab.

TheappearanceoftheprintedCNC-programsiscontrolledinthePrintertab.Defineaheaderand/orafooter.Ifyouhaveacolorprinter,youmightmarkthecoloroption.
