Depressionisacommonmentalillnessglobally,withmorethan264millionpeopleaffected.“Depressionissoubiquitous,andthatunderlinestheneedforeffectiveapproachesthatcanimpactasmanypeopleaspossible,”Choisaid.Andmentalhealthandprimarycareproviderscanusethefindingstoadvisepatientsthatthere’ssomethingmeaningfultheycandotolowertheirriskofdepression.
