检查单词采取了先读后听再写的方式，通过让几个不同层次的学生读新单词来从整体上了解学生对新词汇的预习；听磁带让学生纠正自己的发音：小组听写与相互检查有利于学生之间的合作学习。

通过先读后用本课的短语练习再自由对话的方式，让学生一步步的体验本课时的新知识，符合学生由易到难的认知规律，从而更好的掌握新知识。

这一阶段主要处理教材中的听力材料。在这一过程中1a比较简单，采用了听前读、听中做、听后跟（不看材料，直接跟读）；在2a、2b中由于这则材料有点难，所以采用了听前读、听中做、听后跟（看材料跟读）成对读、读后论的方式，不仅练习了听力，而且通过小组讨论的方式加深了同学们对新知识的理解和运用。

运用本课时知识，对家长允许自己做的事展开小组调查，从而练习说的能力，为书面表达做好充分的铺垫。根据调查结果先做口头报告，然后再写。这一过程既练习了口语又练习了写作能力。

阅读语法焦点然后让学生总结一下本课所学的主要内容。设计当堂练习有利于巩固所学知识。
