InFeb2020,theNationalDevelopmentandReformCommissionand11otherministriesissuedthe“InnovativeDevelopmentStrategyofIntelligentVehicles.”
In2017,theSpecialCommitteefortheDevelopmentoftheConnectedVehicleIndustrywasestablished.Itconsistsof20
departmentsandunits,includingtheMinistryofIndustryandInformationTechnology,theNationalDevelopmentandReformCommission,theMinistryofScienceandTechnology,theMinistryofFinance,theMinistryofPublicSecurity,andtheMinistryofTransport.Thiscommitteeisresponsiblefororganizingtheformulationofdevelopmentplans,policies,andmeasuresfor
theconnectedvehicleindustryandcoordinatingitsdevelopment.
InDec2018,theMinistryofIndustryandInformationTechnology(MIIT)issuedthe“ActionPlanfortheDevelopmentoftheConnectedVehicle(IntelligentConnectedVehicle)Industry,”whichestablishedtheintelligentconnectedvehicleprogram
basedonC-V2Xforintegratedvehicle-road-cloudsystems.
Organizing
demonstrations
InJan2024,theMinistryofIndustryandInformationTechnologyandfiveotherministriesjointlyorganizedapilotprojectfortheapplicationofintegratedvehicle-road-cloudsystemsinintelligentconnectedvehicles.Thisinitiativeaimstofacilitatetheimplementationofcity-leveldemonstrations.
