•Topreventelectricalshockhazard,disconnectthepowercablefromtheelectricaloutletbeforerelocatingthesystem.

Operationsafety

Noteofthefollowingprecautionsbeforeyouinstallmotherboardcomponentsorchangeanymotherboardsettings.

• Unplugthepowercordfromthewallsocketbeforetouchinganycomponent.

• Useagroundedwriststraportouchasafelygroundedobjectortoametalobject,suchasthepowersupplycase,beforehandlingcomponentstoavoiddamagingthemduetostaticelectricity.

• HoldcomponentsbytheedgestoavoidtouchingtheICsonthem.

• Wheneveryouuninstallanycomponent,placeitonagroundedantistaticpadorinthebagthatcamewiththecomponent.

• Beforeyouinstallorremoveanycomponent,ensurethattheATXpowersupplyisswitchedofforthepowercordisdetachedfromthepowersupply.Failuretodosomaycauseseveredamagetothemotherboard,peripherals,and/orcomponents.

OnboardLED

ThemotherboardcomeswithastandbypowerLED.Whenlit,thisgreenLEDindicatesthatthesystemisON,insleepmode,orinsoft-offmode,areminderthatyoushouldshutdownthesystemandunplugthepowercablebeforeremovingorplugginginanymotherboardcomponent.TheillustrationbelowshowsthelocationoftheonboardLED.
