• Makesurethatyourpowersupplyunit(PSU)canprovideatleasttheminimumpowerrequiredbyyoursystem.See“10.ATXpowerconnectors”on28fordetails.
• Unplugthepowercordfromthewallsocketbeforetouchinganycomponent.
• Useagroundedwriststraportouchasafelygroundedobjectortoametalobject,suchasthepowersupplycase,beforehandlingcomponentstoavoiddamagingthemduetostaticelectricity
• HoldcomponentsbytheedgestoavoidtouchingtheICsonthem.

TheCPUwarningLEDlightsuptoindicatethataprocessorisnotinstalledortheprocessorisnotinstalledproperlyinCPU1socket.

Beforeyouinstallthemotherboard,studytheconfigurationofyourchassistoensurethatthemotherboardfitsintoit.
Makesuretounplugthepowercordbeforeinstallingorremovingthemotherboard.Failuretodosocancauseyouphysicalinjuryanddamagemotherboardcomponents.

Wheninstallingthemotherboard,makesurethatyouplaceitintothechassisinthecorrectorientation.Theedgewithexternalportsgoestotherearpartofthechassisasindicatedintheimagebelow.

Placeten(10)screwsintotheholesindicatedbycirclestosecurethemotherboardtothechassis.
Donotovertightenthescrews!Doingsocandamagethemotherboard.

3. PositiontheCPUabovethesocketsuchthatthenotchedcornermatchesthesocketcornerwithatrianglemark.
4.CarefullyinserttheCPUintothesocketuntilitfitsinplace.
