Astrongbrandisessentialtodevelopingasustainableandsuccessfulorganisationthroughassuringpatientsandfamilies;attractingexceptionaldoctors,topstudentsapplications,andprominentresearchstaff;enablingproudemployees,andpreferableresearchpublication;garneringsupportfromdonorsandrespectfromregulators,

governments,andinsurers;andtodevelopastrongnetworkofpartnersaroundtheworld.Reputationalsoplaysacriticalroleinenablingtheworldsleading

AMCstobuilddeep,trustedpartnershipsacrossthebroaderhealthecosystem,supportinginnovationthroughcollaborationwithpharmaceuticalandmedicaldevicecompanies,governmentsandregulators,aswellasinvestorsandpayers.

In2023,BrandFinanceundertookanewstudyintothebrandstrengthoftheworldstopAMCs,incorporatingallthefactorsthatreflectthedevelopmentofanAMCbrand,theperceptionsofkeystakeholders,andthebenefitsthatastrongbrandbringstotheorganisation.

Theobjectiveofthestudyistocreateawaytoholisticallyunderstandwhatmakestheworldstopacademicmedicalcentresleadersintheirfield.ItwasdesignedthroughintensivecollaborationwithstakeholdersofAMCsaroundtheworld,andaone-of-a-kindmarketresearchstudytounderstandtherealperceptionsofhealthcareprofessionalsglobally.

In2025,ourresearchwentastepfurther,examiningthefactorsthatdrive

healthcareprofessionalstoconsideremploymentatacademicmedicalcentresacrossPatientCare,Research,andTeaching.Additionally,weexploredwhat

motivatestheseprofessionalstorecommendthesehospitalswhetherto

patientsinneedoftreatment,individualsseekingtoreferenceorcollaborateontheAMC'smedicalresearch,orstudentspursuingmedicaltrainingandeducation.

Thisyearsreportmarksthefourthiterationoftheresearch.

TheresultsallowtransparentanddetailedunderstandingofhoweachAMCisperceivedtobeperformingacrossarangeofcriticalmetrics,withinsightsthatcanbeactionableandenablecleartargetsforgrowth.Thisbrandmeasurementisanessentialstepwhendeterminingstrategy,settingbrandlicensingrates,
