-EmergencyOperationsCenter(EOC):Acentralizedlocationwhereemergencyresponseactivitiesarecoordinatedandmanaged.

IV.Objectives

V.EmergencyResponsePlanComponents

A.RiskAssessment

1.Identifypotentialhazards:Conductathoroughriskassessmenttoidentifypotentialhazardswithintheorganization,includingnaturaldisasters,technologicalfailures,andhuman-madeincidents.

2.Evaluaterisks:Assessthelikelihoodandpotentialimpactofeachidentifiedhazard.

3.Prioritizerisks:Ranktheidentifiedrisksbasedontheirpotentialimpactandlikelihood.

4.Developmitigationstrategies:Implementmeasurestoreducethelikelihoodandimpactofidentifiedrisks.

B.EmergencyResponseOrganization

2.DeputyIncidentCommander:AssiststheIncidentCommanderandtakesoverintheirabsence.

3.OperationsSectionChief:Managestheemergencyresponseactivitiesontheground.

4.PlanningSectionChief:Coordinatesplanning,documentation,andinformationmanagement.

5.LogisticsSectionChief:Managesresources,supplies,andfacilitiesrequiredfortheemergencyresponse.

6.Finance/EvaluationSectionChief:Managesfinancialresourcesandevaluatestheemergencyresponse.

VI.EmergencyResponseProcedures

A.Pre-incidentplanning

1.Conductriskassessmentstoidentifypotentialemergenciesandtheirimpactontheorganization.

2.Developandimplementemergencyresponseproceduresspecifictoeachtypeofemergency.

3.Trainallpersonnelonemergencyresponseproceduresandconductregulardrills.

VII.CommunicationPlan

1.EmergencyResponseCoordinator(ERC):TheERCistheoverallleaderoftheERTandisresponsibleforensuringtheeffectiveimplementationoftheERP.TheERCwill:

-Overseetheemergencyresponseactivities.

-Coordinatewithexternalagenciesandauthorities.

-Ensurethesafetyandwell-beingofallpersonnel.

-Provideupdatestoseniormanagementandstakeholders.

2.EmergencyResponseManager(ERM):TheERMisresponsiblefortheday-to-daymanagementoftheERTandtheimplementationoftheERP.TheERMwill:

-DevelopandmaintaintheERP.

-Conducttraininganddrills.

-Coordinatewithdepartmentheadsandotherstakeholders.

-Ensuretheavailabilityofemergencyresources.

3.EmergencyResponseSpecialists:Thespecialistsareresponsibleforspecificemergencyresponsefunctions,suchas:

-Firesafety

-Medicalresponse

-Evacuationprocedures

-Communicationandcoordination

B.DepartmentalEmergencyResponseTeams(DERTs)

EachdepartmentwithintheorganizationwillhaveaDERTresponsibleformanagingemergencyresponsewithintheirrespectiveareas.TheDERTswill:

-Developandmaintaindepartment-specificemergencyresponseplans.

-Conducttraininganddrillswithintheirdepartments.

-Ensuretheavailabilityofdepartment-specificemergencyresources.

V.EmergencyResponseProcedures

A.WarningandNotification

1.NaturalDisasters:Intheeventofanaturaldisaster,theERCwillactivatetheERPandnotifyallpersonnelthroughthefollowingchannels:

-Publicaddresssystem

-Email

-SMS

-Socialmedia

2.TechnologicalFailuresandHuman-madeDisasters:TheERCwillactivatetheERPandnotifyallpersonnelthroughthesamechannelsasmentionedabove.

3.Health-relatedEmergencies:TheERCwillactivatetheERPandnotifyallpersonnelthroughthesamechannels,andwillalsocoordinatewithlocalhealthauthorities.

B.EvacuationProcedures

1.EvacuationSignal:TheERCwillinitiatetheevacuationsignalthroughthepublicaddresssystemandothercommunicationchannels.

2.EvacuationRoute:Allpersonnelwillfollowthedesignatedevacuationroutestotheassemblypoint.

3.AssemblyPoint:Allpersonnelwillgatheratthedesignatedassemblypoint,wheretheywillbeaccountedforandprovidedwithfurtherinstructions.

C.FirstAidandMedicalResponse

1.FirstAidStations:Firstaidstationswillbeestablishedatkeylocationswithintheorganization.

2.FirstAiders:Trainedfirstaiderswillbeonstandbytoprovideimmediatemedicalassistance.

3.AmbulanceServices:Intheeventofseriousinjuries,theERCwillcoordinatewithlocalambulanceservicesfortransportationtothenearesthospital.

D.CommunicationandCoordination

1.InternalCommunication:TheERCwillmaintainregularcommunicationwithallpersonnelthroughthepublicaddresssystem,email,andSMS.
