II.TheCulturalreasonsoftheTranslationModernizationAsweallknow,ChineseandEnglisharetwodifferentculturalcarriersandlanguageisalsothesoilofculturalexistence.Solanguageandculturearemutuallyreinforcingandindispensable.Therefore,itcanbesaidthatanytranslationcannotbeseparatedfromculturalaccumulation.Inrecentyears,thetranslationoflanguagehasbeenincreasinglyplacedintheoverallenvironmentofculturalexchangesforreferenceandtheissueoftranslationmodernizationhasbeenconsideredfromaculturalperspective.Cultureisnotonlythecornerstoneofanation'slong-termdevelopment,butalsoanimportantsymbolofanation'ssurvival.Culturehasbeenprecipitatedinthelonghistory,whichplaysanimportantroleinoursurvivalanddevelopment.Traditionalcultureisacivilizationthatanationcreatesandaccumulatesinhistoricalpractice.Itmaybeexpressedinmaterialcarrierssuchasarchitecture,sculpture,productiontools,andlivingutensilsorexpressedinlanguageorexpressedintheabstractcharacter,ability,nationalmentality,thinkingstyle,lifestyle,valuestandards.Inshort,thetraditionalcultureisaccumulatedandpassedoninthecourseofhistoryandtheculturalaccumulationisconstantlydevelopingandchanging.People'screativeactivitiestodaywillaccumulateinthelongriverofhistorytomorrow.Whileformingnewculturalrelics,italsoinfluencesthecivilizationofthefuturewithitsownhistoricalexistence.Likethestoneculturalrelics,bronzeculturewasbred,andthentheironculturewasborn.Thisgradualinheritanceofmutualcausesandconsequences,Itisthehistoricalobjectiveexistencethatdoesnotdependonthesubjectivewillofman.Theinfluenceofnationaltraditionalcultureonthemodernizationoftranslationliesintheexpressionofliteraryworks.ChapterFourTheSignificanceofModernizationofTranslationAsalonghistoryofhumanbeings,translationhasbecomemoreandmoredeeplystudiedinacademiccircles.Althoughthetraditionaltranslationtheoryhasendedintime,itstillhasanimportantreferencerolefortheconstructionofcontemporarytranslationtheory.Thekeypointisthatthetransformationofmodernitymustbecarriedout.Thetheoreticalresearchachievementsweremadebycurrenttranslatorsinthisfieldandexpoundsthepossibleroleofthe"meanofthemean"thoughtoftheinnerspiritoftraditionaltranslationtheoryintheprocessofre-establishingtheChinesetraditionaltranslationtheorysystem.Inordertoprovidesomereferencesforthestudyofcontemporarytranslation.Fromthestructurallinguisticparadigmtothedeconstructionistparadigmandthentotheconstructivistparadigm,thetranslationstudyactuallyhasareciprocalrelationshipwiththeknowledgetheoryfromfundamentalismtoholismtorelativism.Thisshowsthatthedevelopmentandchangeofknowledgetheorywilldirectlyaffecttheparadigmchangesinmanyfieldsofhumanitiesandsocialsciences,anditisworthseriouslystudying.Althoughthetraditionaltranslationtheoryisrichinresources,butitsownlimitationsmakeitcannotbedirectlyusedforourmoderntranslationtheoryconstruction,sowemustusethemusclequalityofmodernacademiatoreshapeitandenrichit.Thisisthemoderntransformationofit.Transformationisnotonlyasummarybutalsoacontinuationofthetheoreticalformoftraditionaltranslationtheory,andacontinuationofitsvaluableideasandvalues.Althoughsomepeoplehaverealizedthattraditionaltranslationtheoryisarichtreasure,itisnoteasytodigdeeperorjusttry.Lookingbacktothestudyoftraditionaltranslationtheory,itisnotdifficulttofindthatthecharacteristicsofthestudyaredifferentfromtimetotime.Onthewhole,theinitialstudyshowedastrongtendencyofreflectionwithreferencetomodernity.Withthedevelopmentofresearch,thetranslationfieldgraduallychangesfromthiskindofnegativeresearchtoactiveresearchemphasizingtheexcavationandinterpretationoftheintrinsicvalueoftraditionaltranslationtheoryandthelatterisbecomingthemaintrendoftraditionaltranslationtheoryresearch.ChapterFiveTheProblemsandtheFutureDevelopmentofTranslationModernizationTranslationinvolvesnotonlytwolanguagesbuttwocultures.Becausecultureisnotonlythesoilonwhichlanguagedepends,butalsotheobjectreflectedbylanguage.Theinfluenceofculturalfusionontranslationistwofold.Onthepositiveside,thebilingualandbidirectionalcultureenvironmentcanenrichtheconnotationofthetwoculturesimprovingthetranslatabilityoflanguagematerialsingeneralandreducethedifficultyoftranslationinmacrosense.Thenegativeaspectismainlymanifestedinspecificlanguagematerials.Localconflictsinevitablyoccurwhentwoculturescomeintocontact.Themorefrequentthecontact,themoreopportunitiesforconflict,andthecorrespondingincreaseinthetypeandnumberoftranslationdifficulties.Comparedwiththetwoaspects,thepracticalsignificanceofexploringthelatterisevenmoreprominent.Thefollowingstudyfocusesonthisaspect.Therearemanyexamplesofdifficultiesintranslationbroughtaboutbyculturalintegration,suchastransliteration,whichisimpossibletofindthecorrespondingwordstotranslatefromoneculturetoanotherandwhichcannotbesolvedbyfreetranslationorcombinationoftransliterationandmeaning.SuchloanwordsarecommoninChinese,besidesthosementionedabove,therearealso"sofa","motorcycle","club","McDonald's","chocolate","Coca-Cola","humor"andsoon.Thereareevenindividualwordslikekaraoke,whichhavetoborrowEnglishletterstotranslatereluctantlyinto"karaoke".WiththefurthercontactsbetweenChineseandWesterncultures,foreignwordsareconstantlyintroducedintoeachother,andaconsiderablepartofthemrelyonconventionalforcetomaintaintheirexistence.Thewaytosolvethetranslationproblemisnottheonlyone.Inthelong-termpractice,peoplehavefoundmanyflexibleandcompensatorymeans.However,therearesomeideologicalcontradictionsbetweenthesemeans.Tosumup,itisnothingmorethanthecontradictionbetweenthepropositionofintroducingtheexpressionofthesourcelanguageintothetargetlanguageandthepropositionofusingtheauthenticexpressionofthetargetlanguage.Inshort,itisthecontradictionbetweenalienationanddomestication.Translationtextsaredifficult,andculturalintegrationinvolvesmanyimportantissuesintranslationwhichputsforwardhigherrequirementsfortranslators.Translatorsshouldnotonlyhavesufficientknowledgeofthetwolanguages,butalsohaveconsiderablecultivationofthetwocultures.Theyshouldhavetheabilitytoaccuratelyfeelthecultureofthesourcelanguageandthecomprehensionofthelanguage,butalsotheabilitytoappropriatelyreflecttheiracceptabilityinthecultureofthetargetlanguageandfreelycontroltheexpressionofthetargetlanguage.Theyshouldnotonlytreatalllanguagephenomenawithadevelopmentalperspective,butalsosolvespecifictranslationfromtheperspectiveofcontext.Question...Allthesearenotpurelytheoreticalissues,andthesenseofproportionalityof"degree"isalwaysavariableinpractice.Inthecontextofculturalintegration.Ontheonehand,weareencouragedbytheprospectofgradualimprovementoftranslatability.Ontheotherhand,wefeelthepressureofsocialdevelopmentontranslation.Toadapttothetrendofculturalintegrationandfurtherpromotemutualunderstandingandcommondevelopmentamongcultures,translatorsstillhavealottodo.ConclusionTranslation,asanindependentdiscipline,isinextricablylinkedwithotherdisciplinesandinfluencesandpromoteseachother.Intoday'sera,wearecarryingoutmodernizationonthebasisofthetraditionaltheoryoftranslation,andareusingscientificmethodstoinheritandcarryforwardtraditionalculture.Wewillspeedupthemodernizationoftranslationandwriteanewchapterinhistory.Duetothedifferencesinhistory,geography,politicsandlivinghabits,EnglishandChinesehaveformedtheirownuniquecultureandthinkingpatternsandhavetheirownperspectivesandexpressions.Ontheonehand,thedifferencesintheseviews
